How is giving a **** about how women are treated differently compared to men a matter of left vs right? Would it be any more fair to describe this as typical right-wing conservative misogynistic hysteria?

We should all be against unfair standards for women and for men. We're all human. We're all multitudes. We're complex.

You can't touch them in non-intimate ways. God help you if you even think of touching them at all.

You can't share a pool, separated by distance, surrounded by other people. May you hope to die if she's wearing anything other than a nun's habit.

Because that is ALL the evidence we have here.

Come to think of it, it sounds more and more like men and women can't be friends.

Yup, although it depends on your definition of a friend. I think that was why they made When Harry Met Sally. (Can't think of any other reason.)

My guess is you wouldn’t be ok with your wife going on a week-end to see an attractive male friend by herself and you found out that they were holding hands and hugging.

As I've said a few times before: if I saw photographs of my girlfriend in a similar situation, I'd be deeply troubled and would expect a thorough, transparent explanation from her as to what actually occurred.

Right. If anything, the fact that the draft is right around the corner is more reason to quit. She was suspended and ordered to silence by her employer indefinitely while they “investigated”. Her contract was almost up anyway. May as well voluntarily end it herself and free herself to be able to start covering the draft again. I am willing to bet she signs on with another outlet before the draft.

Seriously, if you're married and you get upset about some level of hand squeeze and a hug, you got trust issues. And from what I've learned, trust issues can and will erode your marriage. It leads to some serious resentment, feelings of being trapped, paranoia, etc.

There's a difference between speculation among media and insiders than front page stories. Belichick didn't get to the point where his relationship with Jordon was a focus while in New England. That's not to say he didn't make many mistakes during 2022 and 2023.
