Russini & Vrabel Nothing to see here?

It is a distraction. It doesn't appear innocent but even if there is a "good excuse" for him to meet Russini, hang out in the hot tub and pool with her, and interlock fingers on top of a condo at a romantic couples resort, it's a very unwise decision. It's tougher to tell your players to make wise decisions and preach loyalty and family when Vrabel just did this.

Secondly, doing things that potentially hurt your marriage is a distraction

The best thing is for Vrabel to be honest, come clean and reveal the truth if he wants players and people to look to him as a leader and coach. Maybe that part is done privately.

But this is going to affect him and the team in some way.
Bingo...Finally some sense.

The coach having an affair which eventually dies in the media cycle will not translate in losses.

A coach going through a nasty divorce in which distracts and sucks the life out of him will.

Wins and losses. Those are all what matter.

That's one of the things that I am afraid of. If they decide to get divorced they have to legally separate. I can't imagine a situation where he stays in the current residence if she wants to be the one to stay there. It is all a huge hassle and distraction that we just don't need.

Like 60 or 70% of the married couples get divorced, and it is not a huge distraction. Most couples do not have the money Vrabel has to pay someone to handle it for them. If Vrabel has to move out, living in a hotel for a month or two and then moving into a condo is a very minor distraction. It is not happening mid-season.

If Vrabel is single, with the kids on weekends, that means he has more time to stay at Gillette which should help the team. Maybe it is not great for his personal life, but being single living near Gillette will not hurt the Pats wins and losses.

Things will really go to **** if Vrabel breaks up with his wife and has to take care of her dog while she’s with some other guy in Hawaii…

I need to know if Jen Vrabel has a Pomeranian.

That would add a whole new dimension to this matter.

“I’m sorry your puppy got out and went to play with the neighbor’s pit bull”

What does that even mean to "pay someone to handle it for them"? If they get divorced, they're on opposite sides. They don't "pay someone to handle it for them" like when your car breaks down. They each hire their own lawyers and the person who "handles it" is called The Judge.

The more money there is, the more complicated it is. It kinda funny that you think having millions of dollars at stake will make the whole process easier.

Yeah nothing says "minor distraction" like getting kicked out of your house, not seeing your family like you used to, and living out of some suck ass apartment or condo.

The lawyer can handle it for Vrabel - Vrabel does not even have to go to court except for the final judgement. And a home manager can organize the new residence, new pots and pans, and anything that makes the whole transition eaier. Money buys handlers. This should be obvious.

Complication depends on the parties involved. The lawyers can settle things easily if their clients allow them. There are a lot of divorces with a lot more money involved than the Vrabel's have. Again, this should be obvious.

From June onwards, Vrabel lives at Gillette stadium. You are greatly exaggerating the situation.

I don't know what's going on here (beyond, the usual "smoke" and "fire" connections), but I do know that Vrabel now no longer has the credibility to tell his players not to "create distractions" off the field. That's, at best, "not a good thing."

Bottom line? Whatever may or may not have happened, this is not helpful. At least BB waited until he left the Pats before he made a circus of his private life with, in his case, someone young enough to be his granddaughter.
The bottom line relates a BB note in a Vrabel thread. There are a handful of posters that will include BB in every thread until they pass away. I have no idea how BB hurt these people, but they will feel damaged by BB on their death bed.

That was well under way before he left New England. They met in 2021 and it's been speculated that his infatuation with Jordon factored into the team's 2022-2023 slide.

If you think moving out of your home in a 25 year marriage is a simple matter of buying new pots and pans, then you really have no understanding of the subject. This should be obvious.

You don't have the first clue what you are talking about. If you think this is going to be an amiable process after he got caught in infidelity, join us in the real world.

We don't know if they are getting divorced but IF they do, then the only life the guy has known for the past quarter century gets completely uprooted, and you think it is nothing more than a walk in the park.

It is a life-changing, time-consuming process which completely upends peoples' lives, their families and their relationships. It is not something you casually shrug off as you go about your routine. There are arguments, lawyers, hearings, depositions, testifying, court appearances. Any mundane thing she used to do for him he needs to do himself. His entire life will change in ways you apparently cannot possibly imagine.

Again, this should be obvious.

Here we go. Another thread taken over by the BB haters. I have no idea how BB hurt these people so badly.

I certainly am no "BB hater," my post was in response to someone invoking him by example. BB was the GOAT until he faltered -- it is what it is.

I did it. I have friends that did it. You are the one living on Mars. It happens thousands a time a year in MA.

You are lost.

Yes, also wasn’t he cheating on his wife with Linda? Then years later he cheats on Linda with the cheerleader. There are stories of Bill sleeping with a woman when he was the DC for the Giants. Bill could’ve been in the CIA because he sure was good at not letting the stories get out of control.

Is this a BB thread? Simple question. Most posters would agree and apologize for derailing (accidentally?) the thread. Not Tunescribe - he gets defensive.

In fairness to Tune he wasn’t the one who inserted Bill into the thread.
