2026 Draft: Tight Ends

Roush and Delp on a Double dip for me: one or both will be solid NFL Pros.
Roush has short arms. He will disappoint.

People do not understand that not all short arm guys disappoint, but most do. The draft is about selecting guys with the highest chance of success. OL with short arms might be OK in a few situations, but is a bad approach in most situations.

Roush can join our other T-Rex.

From Dane Brugler's Will Kacmarek scouting report.
Interesting what's your take on Max Klare?? Here's something interesting it seems like Joe Royer - Maxx Klare and Will Kacmarek were all in the same TE room at Ohio State. Joe Royer then took his talents to Cincinnati.

Josh Norris and Hayden Hinks on Sam Roush.

There are enough questions about Roush's hands that questioning his upside as a TE 1 is valid - although that upside does exist. On the other hand, you're looking at a TE 2 as a minimum. I think that's where I am on him. Take him in the 3rd, hope for the upside, but if it doesn't materialise, be happy that you've locked down your TE 2 for 4 years.

I really like Klare but he'd have to be taken at 63 and I have other priorities there.

Many like TE Joe Royer and think he's very underrated in this Draft. Cincinnati have quite a few players I like. Ps. I think Maxx Klare goes deep in the Third Round.

That's what sold me on Roush. Floor is rock solid.

A TE who can go mano a manor with Rueben Bain? Please.

Some thoughts:

- A more athletic Will Kacmarek? Norris and Winks call Riush THE best run blocking TE in the draft, bar none.

- Drake Maye is the most accurate QB in the NFL, and throws a really watchable ball.

My 2027 goal is Roush + Jamari Johnson.

They clearly haven't watched Kacmarek yet.

Finally got round to it.

I agree a true Y-TE is very valuable. I just have Roush ahead of Kacmarek. Much more athletic. But Kacmarek in 4th or later is a good backup option for me.
