Unless something else comes out Vrabel deserves the benefit of the doubt.

Page Six tells us that the pair ... had breakfast on the patio of the hotel restaurant ... before spending a leisurely hour or so together at the pool and lounging side-by-side in a hot tub ... spotted Vrabel and Russini again that evening on the private rooftop of one of the hotel’s bungalows. Roofs are only accessible from the two-person bungalows.

I don’t believe it is an affair. It is just bad optics that is all and a lot for Mike to explain to Jenifer.
I thought it was funny and why I posted it just to get a laugh but appreciating the different perspectives on this here. Did not consider that it can have career impact for Rusini.

No one actually cares. But she will never be taken seriously as a reporter again and that's the double standard at play here.

The rumors were already out there about her and now this is just damning as far as she is concerned.

It's not difficult to figure out why this could be bad for the team. You don't want distractions.

This is how I feel. I don’t particularly care what Vrabel does but a messy family situation could create a distraction during the season, which would be disappointing. I guess we will have to see how well the man compartmentalizes.

Yeah, this potential affair has zero relevance to 99.9% of people in the world. But it could certainly impact Vrabel's life, and then potentially impact the team, if their HC is dealing with personal messiness. Which is why it seems pretty relevant to Patriots fans.

I'm sure the players, many probably now emotionally crippled for life, are weeping and beating their tender bosoms all along the shore of Boston Harbor, begging their coach to say it isn't so.

It may be of interest to a few addled fanboys, but it is not "relevant" in any defensibly rational respect.

I said it's relevant to Patriots fans, not that the players are staging a grief vigil on the harbor.

'Not relevant in any defensibly rational respect'? News about the Patriots HC is, by definition, relevant to Patriots fans and potentially the team itself. Will it amount to anything? Maybe not. Has Vrabel done anything ethically wrong? Without knowing the nature of his relationship with his wife, we cannot say.

But calling this irrelevant to a Patriots discussion-board is rather absurd. You're more than welcome to not care, but your lack of care doesn't make it irrelevant.

At first I thought these photos were damning than I do now that I saw more than the thumbnails - especially after reading the account that it was a group trip type of thing.

A group of friends hanging out you could absolutely take specific photos/crop photos to isolate just two of them. Even the one with they're holding hands could just be a pair of friends briefly dancing to a song they like - I've done that before without there being more to it.

Beyond that - there's always the chance that this is ethical non-monogamy.

Despite the above, I'm actually not in a rush to defend Vrabel here but at the same time I don't anything past the type of person who would take these kinds of pictures when it comes to trying to manufacture a story for the clicks.

According to the article, the photographer never saw Vrabel nor Russini with anyone else - they were either seen alone or with each other. Below is a zoomed-out photograph for perspective.

And putting aside the potential affair (as you said, we don't know if this is mutually agreed upon by the couples involved, could be consensual nonmonogamy), what a stunningly gorgeous place.
