TreVeyon Henderson chomping at the bit to openly denigrate “unrighteous” LGBT community

It's funny how bigots will complain about the pro gay and pro trans stuff being "shoved down their throats" without being smart enough to understand that it's being pushed because of people like them and their bigotry. There is a push to acknowledge/accept/respect gay and trans people because of the bigots who refused to do so. If bigots would shut the **** up and just keep their views to themselves and not use it as an excuse to marginalize or disrespect others, there would be no need to "shove this down their throat".
This isn't about "marginizing" anyone. You people want biological men in womens' sports (and womens' spaces). That is something I will never support. You have no response to that but the usual left wing name calling of "-phobe" and "bigot".

To quote you: We just wish the gays would shut the **** up and just keep their views to themselves and not use it as an excuse to marginalize or disrespect others.

You really don't understand that he literally posted a picture of a guy who just got fired for being grossly homophobic and used a bible verse to defend him and say he was "persecuted for righteousness sake". Aka calling that players homophobia righteous.

Sounds the rest of that is a you problem and you might want to skip games that are promoting social causes

What did Ivey say that was grossly homophobic?

We don’t pay to see social causes when we
Attend games

Maybe Trump will come to your next game so you can honor him “that was a joke”

Not everyone values things equally
If you went to a game & got a Trump speech, I don’t think you would be too happy.

Although I would chuckle

If I knew Trump was going to be at a game, I'd vote with my wallet and not go.

Say he didn’t announce he was coming , for security reasons

Would you leave ?

No, not really. He could just be very religious. His religion makes a pretty clear stance on LGBT, one that I personally do not and have never agreed with. But being very religious and speaking about a clear principle of your religion does not make someone a coward, just religious.
If it is the part of your religion you choose to highlight, then, yes, you are a coward and a bigot. Religion is just an excuse at this point. One could easily argue that Jesus would be very pro-LGBTQ and not be "wrong".

Anyway, this is a waste of time. Discussing these subjects won't lead to anything good. Heck, some idiot already called me a POS for saying hiding bigotary behind religion is a cowards move.

Yes I'd leave and I wouldn't support the product anymore. I wouldn't try to change their stance, I'd stop supporting them entirely

Does that, like, count for the entire League? Or just a specific team?

IOW if Trump went to a Patriots game are you no longer a Patriots fan, or does that mean you give the NFL up altogether?

Then how do you criticize people who don’t want see pride night ?

Walking out on the president is ok, but walking out on pride night, is bad?

If the Patriots made it very clear they as an organization supported something I disagreed with that morally, I would abstain from supporting them.

Well now you've moved the bar quite a bit. You said "If I knew Trump was going to be at a game, I'd vote with my wallet and not go." but now it has evolved to "If the Patriots made it very clear they as an organization supported something I disagreed with that morally..."

Nice to see you abandoned your principles so quickly.

I don't see how that's the case. The question was would I care if Trump went to a game to a give a speech. And my answer was yes, I wouldn't go to that game. Then it was "what if it wasn't announced", at that point I'd still leave but my support of the team would highly depend on what the content of the speech was and what the team was promoting with it. If it was just a "rah rah" America speech, I could leave because I object to the guy saying it and not the message the team is promoting.

That's different questions with different answers. The principles remain the same.

You don’t think the Patriots respect the president?

Kraft & Trump are friends

Because context and intent matters. I would ask specifically what your issue with pride night is that you find morally reprehensible. I have no problem saying what I find about Trump to be morally reprehensible and why I wouldn't support that.

Ivey was sent packing from the Pistons for a reason. He's not that good anymore. He was waived from the Bulls for the same reason....probably from injuries. It wasn't his comments. And even if it was clearly the team has to believe what he has left on the basketball court isn't enough anymore to overcome any backlash. I really hope anyone doesn't think LeBron or SGA would be cut if they made comments like this.

I have no problem with what Trey said and neither does Coach Vrabel. Wearing your faith openly and quoting scripture verses isn't always easy in today's world.

Kraft has also criticized the President publicly and called him divisive. The last Patriots coach refused a Presidential Medal of Freedom. The Patriots as an organization have never promoted the policies of said President and blasted them out to the fanbase and made supporting the Patriots synonymous with support for that messaging.

Religion may be just an excuse for you, and virtually none existent for me, but there are plenty of people that are simply very religious and follow all its interpretations...different people, different values, different opinions...

But rather than acknowledge themselves as the villain, it's easier for people like this to make themselves out to be the victim here because they're forced to see and hear things they don't support.

If you have a problem with the LGBTQ content you see, take it out on the bigots who make it something people feel the need to produce.
Agree. Live and let live. Who am I to judge.
