Take that one to the bank and keep it under lock and key until the end of April. I'd take that in a heartbeat.
 
Either Wheatley or Taaffe work for me. Re sign Hawkins and SAF is not a huge problem right now.
 
Daniel Jeremiah is starting to scout.

 
Genesis Smith. He’s a tough eval. On one level, perfect for what we’re looking for, but another, bad enough in a key area he might be disqualified.

I've always liked him but never really considered him thinking he was more a straight up SS. I'm liking him more and more because he's done well at the Shrine game in coverage. He'd be great on special teams and has the size to cover TEs and the Drake London's of the NFL. Another good option for one of those 6th round picks.

I'm purposefully putting this ine in the safety thread because the first play, which most of you have seen already, and the play at 0:45 have me salivating about Stukes at safety.

 
Stukes probably my preferred nickel/S option.

I find myself drawn more and more to Kyle Louis. He had some of the best coverage reps for a linebacker I've seen at a senior bowl.
 
I love Louis, too.

In my most recent mock I had the Pats taking Louis in the 4th and Kansas St. S VJ Payne in the 5th. They couldwreck a lot of havoc with that kind of combo.

Louis in the 3rd? Have the think hard about that.

Higher? Love Louis, but don't see it.
