They won. But even if they lost, it's a safe bet he wouldn't be sharing what he REALLY though.
ROFL

I think that we should read and re-read this article and all the dozens of others, especially those from KC sources.

I agree with the players, the coach and the quarterback.

I disagree with those who so wish they had a TE or even any player of Offense as good as Kelce. And yes, we used to have a TE that was even better.

Folks outside of KC have every right to their sour grapes.

And yes, I do indeed believe that the incident helped the Offense. There were several meetings near the field all intended to give the Offense and the Defense a kick in the pants. This one was one that helped.

Fair enough on my comments regarding Belichick. I'll stop. His actions record speaks for themselves for the first 20 years and for the last four.

I do strongly believe that if Gronk had such an outburst toward any coach or especially toward Belichick, he would have been benched, maybe be allowed to play a little late in the game when the team would be a couple of TD's down.

And to think this ******* won. This was another reason I wanted the 49ers to win. Imagine how full of themselves the Queefs will be next year. I'm sure it will all come crumbling down when Kermit has noone to throw sidearm to next year when injuries occur. They're one ACL tear away from being a losing team. And Swifty can suck it. Literally.

What are you "ROFL" about? Not much else here is making sense in response to my post specifically. And there remains no clear connection between Kelce selfishly laying into his coach for briefly being subbed out and the offense consequently getting "fired up." If you don't think Kelce's nonsense pissed Reid off, you have another guess coming. He deserves an award for the restraint shown during and afterward.

Though I have an issue with Kelce bumping into his HC, I have none with players expressing emotions before, during or after the game. I'll never forget when Gronk said "after" a game presser he wouldn't make a comment because he didn't want to get into trouble. Such nonsense.

I'm fine with him yelling, getting fired up, etc. But bumping Reid like that was just way too far. I honestly can't even recall the last time I saw a player do that to their coach...been sitting here a while actually wondering that, and I can't recall the last time I've ever seen that happen.

McCaffrey should have kicked Shanny in the ass 2nd half ...
Kelce told Reid wake the **** up ... Reid looked used to it ... and he did get in gear.
meh ... not my problem.

right! BB would have benched Gronk, lost the game, and then given one of his self-righteous speeches about being in charge. At bes Gronk would have a diminished role after BB scolded him in front of everyone.

Say what you want about wether you think he was right to bench Welker or Butler but other than the fact you can see they weren't on the field or active in Butler's case nothing was self righteous or done publicly. I mean no one still knows the reason behind Butler.

Right or wrong he did what he thought was best for the team and tried to keep it between him and the player.

There are stories about what he would do to players in front of the team but that's also behind closed doors.

I lost a lot of respect for Andy Reid for meekly taking it when one of his own players chewed him out AND made contact with him.

Not gonna happen
The AFC is there's for the taking they never get a key injury ever

I agree the situations are different.

My points are simple ones.

1) Belichick would have benched Gronk, and we would have been more likely to lose the game.

2) Kelce's actions were clearly wrong. The reaction of the players, QB and coach were to understand his actions and to be more focused after the event.
===================
With regard to Welker, Butler and so many others, Belichick had his system. It worked for 20 years, even though it seems that it could have worked better in these instances and in some others where starters were didn't start because of minor offenses. So, with Belichick, obviously the good of his system of discipline outweighed the bad and think it unreasonable to look back and criticize.

We still have awhile to continue to criticize Belichick's 2nd stint, the rebuilding one over the last 4 years. And, then, we need to even move on from that, only remembering the greatest franchise, coach and QB, all time over the 20 years.

AN ASIDE
Reid's system of treating players works for him. He does indeed treat Mahomes and Kelce differently, and allows confrontations, although obviously this was extreme. I'm sure that Reid, Mahomes and Kelce will have a hearty laugh about this. And I don't think anything will change as they challenge NFL history with their potential threepeat.

Who wants this? Up until this Taylor Swift mania most non-Chiefs fans knew Kelce is a total jerk off. He has been more careful to not be a tool with the spotlight on him but he can't help it. It is who he is. He isn't a bad guy in terms of NFL standards he just a douchebag.
I'd hate to see what it looks like when he's not being careful.

Didn't Kelce say one time that Pats fans hate him because he's a white TE wearing #87 or something like that?

Lol

Yes, the New England region is sure well known for our hatred of white athletes...

Someday that will be Taylor on the other end.
