“Needed a break from Bill” when referring to his stint working in financeWhat did he say?
I don't think it was intended to be a serious dig, relax lol. He’s going to learn the hard way that careers are long. You don’t throw shade at your mentor when you take his job.
Deets pls!Ugh, seriously Jerod?
I was not expecting this.
This is beneath you
Why say it at all?I don't think it was intended to be a serious dig, relax lol.
Yeah I mean I don't give a ****, but kinda ballsy to do with your boss lol.Mayo referring to Bob as "Thunder" every time is extremely cringey.
Thunderhead? Are you related to Robert “Thunder Cat” Kraft?Lots of non answers and dancing around questions here. Kind of a weird presser overall.
My concern is that these are just platitudes. Every coach must listen and learn. Obviously Belichick is a walking encyclopedia of information. There's also the idea that there is really not much new under the sun. Even Miami's "new" offense is not new in the least. The key for coaches is listening and then knowing what will be successful. Having your own core principles despite the "new" info you're hearing. He’s going to learn the hard way that careers are long. You don’t throw shade at your mentor when you take his job.

Pretty sure this was said in jest. Especially when he refers to Bill as a mentor.“Needed a break from Bill” when referring to his stint working in finance
I feel bad for Mayo if that happens, because I don't think it will be him making that decision. Let Mayo start fresh with his own QB, don't saddle him with Belichick's problems. If they skip out on a QB and believe in Mac that decision could set the franchise back for years. I know the draft is not guarantee however we know Mac isn’t a legitimate starter.
I am not going to have a lot of patience with this change. It already looks clumsy, and my interest in the Pats and NFL is waning. If they skip out on a QB and believe in Mac that decision could set the franchise back for years. Trying to be buddy-buddy with the boss.Yeah I mean I don't give a ****, but kinda ballsy to do with your boss lol.
