Apple tv+ to get Sunday Ticket?

Man that would be sweet. Directtv stinks they didn't get into the streaming wave.

I streamed DTV last season. Yet another streaming service to pay for. The damn Comcast bill was cheaper back in the day....

At $4.99 a month for the service? Um... yeah count me in. Can't imagine it will stay that way though lol.
I can't imagine them doing the Sunday Ticket without charging a premium on top of their subscription price.

Streaming games sucks and sucks royally. I know when we watch games on TV, it isn't live, but there is a huge difference between a 7 second delay and a 67 second delay. On those rare occasions where I have streamed games in the past, I'd get text messages that the Patriots scored a TD about 2 plays before I actually got to see it.

Oh yeah I would prefer live TV but I live in the bay area so I can only watch the Patriots game on sites that kill my computer if they're not on prime time lol

This would probably be a lot better due to Apple software. The Apple TV interface blows away my smart tv interface.

Is that 60 seconds worth the 75/mo or whatever Sunday ticket costs? Yahoo typically live streams reg season for free, iirc? That would be a platform much closer to "real time."

There is no free (and legal) streaming of out-of-town games not being broadcast. You do get streaming as part of the Sunday Ticket package (and I believe you can get a streaming-only service from DTV is you are not able to install a satellite) but there is no free option to way to watch every Patriots game for those who live out of market.

Sunday Ticket on Apple TV+......

DirectTV should prepare for a lot of cancellations

Reddit Streams. NFL has enough $.

While not free, if you use YouTubeTV you can stream (and record) all Patriots games and any other games that are being broadcast. I find it much better than cable.

YouTube tv was my go to last season to watch the games.
There were times however with even gig internet speeds that it would freeze or lose hd quality at certain times.

Hmm. I didn't have that problem. Lag like that is time-dependent of course and it won't affect any recording you do (which is done at their end).

I no longer live in New England. What are my choices to pay for and watch every Patriots game and only Patriots game.

One season I got a VPN account, a foreign Apple user ID, and purchased Game Pass as a foreigner so I could watch it on my IPad.
Game Pass streams live in other countries (or at least they used to). It was a pain in the ass, but it was kinda cool watching Game Pass live out of Hong Kong as Montgomery Whittaker from the UK.

Sign me up. I already use Apple TV+ anyway. While I highly doubt it’ll be super cheap, I bet it’ll be a lot less than DirecTV charged. I can see Apple using it as a vehicle to get subscribers and then try to keep them the rest of the year with their other offerings.

I already pay $99 a year for GamePass International and around $10 a month for a VPN for 5 months or so, so that’s roughly $150 total cost per season. I’m out of market so don’t get a lot of Pats games locally right now. If Apple’s offering is less than $150 a season and I don’t have to mess with a VPN I’ll be super pleased.

Would love to see more 4K HDR NFL broadcasts. Maybe Apple will help make that happen.
