Does anyone remember when Jalen Ramsey called Josh Allen "trash" in his first year?
“I think Allen is trash,” Ramsey said. “That’s a stupid draft pick to me. We play them this year, and I’m excited as hell.”
This even before Allen had thrown a pass in the NFL.
Allen claimed at the time that the criticism didn’t bother him,
I'll certainly give him credit for the loss."Now, let's all give McDermott just the right amount of credit"
Agreed. Josh Allen reminds me of a young John Elway. If he gets hurt, the Bills are screwed. And the way he runs, he will get hurt.Josh Allen plays the game like a RB who is a great QB. Other running QB's know how to avoid hits.
There's a reason RB's are done by 30.
How long can he survive playing like that?
...and his career will be shortened significantly.Agreed. Josh Allen reminds me of a young John Elway. If he gets hurt, the Bills are screwed. And the way he runs, he will get hurt.
The old John Elway won a Super Bowl too...Agreed. Josh Allen reminds me of a young John Elway. If he gets hurt, the Bills are screwed. And the way he runs, he will get hurt.
Yes, the old John Elway won a Super Bowl, but IIRC, his knee was hanging on by a zipper at that point. The old John Elway won a Super Bowl too...
The funny thing to me was at one point he was offered an ownership stake in the Broncos instead of salary, he took the cash instead of the ownership stake and invested it in some dot-coms which went down the toilet.
He's had a wonderful life, but I'm sure he knows that had he played things differently he could now be majority owner of the Broncos and worth $billions.
Point is, some QBs who are run-oriented when they are young can/do develop into decent pocket passers.Yes, the old John Elway won a Super Bowl, but IIRC, his knee was hanging on by a zipper at that point.
100% agree. I think he could be a good/great pocket passer if he loses some mobility. The guy has a cannon for an arm and is super accurate. Just like Elway. A lot of running qb's don't have that skill set.Point is, some QBs who are run-oriented when they are young can/do develop into decent pocket passers.
Yep, they lose a lot by not being able to uncork a run, but often develop their passing skills as they mature.
I gotta say I didn't see a lot wrong with Allen's throws in our two losses to them and now in the KC game, how about you?
This one needs a name to go along with “Wide Right” and “Music City Miracle”. How about “Brisket City Miracle”?
I still think I might prefer:
The DONT ****ING KICK THE ****ING BALL INTO THE ****ING END ZONE game.
What kickoff decision was worse...what the Bills did here....
Or kicking to Desmond Howard when everyone on your coaching staff told you not to?
Kicking to Desmond Howard.
When will we see your deal with Green Cow come about? He's supposed to ban himself now, right?
It happened in 2019 when he tried to run over Jonathan Jones and ended up concussing himself instead.Agreed. Josh Allen reminds me of a young John Elway. If he gets hurt, the Bills are screwed. And the way he runs, he will get hurt.
