Speculation: BB could leave after 2021

I was thinking the same thing.
It’s not even from a “one foot out the door” POV either. But people who hold high positions within an organization will begin to step back in their final year and delegate tasks to their replacement(s).

If I remember correctly, J Stu's sources are grunts that work for the C's and I assume the Pat's.
Grunts know things

An anonymous low level tech grunt at Tesla leaked out a month ago that his Company was buying Bitcoin in size. He was universally mocked by his online nerd faction. Then he was vindicated.

Back in the day, I worked with a very successful guy who was a ball boy for the Knicks as a teen and even when he was married with kids and a great day job he continued to work for the team at home games. The insider knowledge he had was epic.
Who the players were having affairs with
Which Knick was boffing Madonna months before the tabloids caught on (Oakley)
Hell, he knew which MLB players were banging Madonna when Oakley (and Dennis Rodman) took the night off
Which Knick City Dancer Ammad Rashad was cheating on his wife with
And he would tell us Knick & NBA trades that were about to happen long before the Post had the scoops

I worked with another guy who was tapped in with some grunts who worked in the stables at Yonkers Race Track (trotters) and about once a year he would throw us a bone and get word to my department that the jockeys in Race #5 at Yonkers on Thursday were doing a fellow jockey a solid and rigging a race to get him a win so he wouldn't be fired. I remember chipping in $20 bucks for an office pool bet, then taking the wad of cash to the nearby OTB, placing the bet for my office, then watching the race on the screen. Five trotters broke stride during the race and the "sure thing" easily won. Yonkers reputation as the most corrupt race track in America remained intact that day.

Love the grunts

Hard to believe that Kraft was not upset watching what would have been his 7th championship and vocal to Belichick about the decision to let Brady walk. Krafts actions and statements have always been to allow Brady to play until he retires as a Patriot. Belichick says next to nothing, but Linda Holidays tweet about Brady not throwing a TD vs Green Bay in the 2020 NFCC was telling.

Id say its the beginning of the end for BB. Hes been in NE over 20 years. Like Brady, BB has earned the right to leave whenever he decides its time.
I don't think the Linda post is a reflection on BBs true thoughts. She's just defending her man from the angry mob.

With that said BB deserves to exit the way he chooses but deserves got nuthin to do with it. He'll go when it's time to go whether he likes it or not.

There seems to be a contingent on this forum that listen to a whole lot of sports talk radio, and take every word as undisputable gospel truth.
" Mike, you are so right...you are so right, Mike!!!!!"

Bill would be leaving a huge **** sandwich for NE if he puts Patricia in charge after he leaves. I don't know what kind of mind-fu??ing he would have to do to convince Kraft that that's the move, but he did convince Bob that it was okay to let Brady move on.

Riddle me this Batpersons
What happened/didn't happen to make once sought after Josh rescind the HC of the colts offer and return to the NEP?
Did BB or Kraft offer him a position as next HC only to pull the football away Lucy style for the Rocket Scientist?

I read the he had a physical done on Andrew Luck and the physical did not match what he was told. Considering Luck retired the next year, it makes sense.

Frankly, if it was me and I had that money; I would retire and Linda Holliday would find herself a very busy lady.

BB always said he didn't want to be Marv Levy in his 80's on the sideline and then he said he didn't realize how young he felt in his 60's.

The guy has over 2 thousand books on football, the best bet is he's a "Retire to what?" guy.

However, if ever did retire, I'd start a network and have 3 hour shows on film breakdown with Bill Belichick.

BB fcked us. He kicked Brady out and now he realizes what a monumental task it is to rebuild without a QB and he's realizing he's done. And wants to chill on his boat.

Even more sinister, BB realizes that the more seasons he loses without Brady (and Brady wins without him) he looks more and more like a chump so better call it quits quick

At this point I won't be surprised if he resigns next month, let alone after this year.

Actually, we are the ones screwed by the fact you are still allowed to post.

I'm not assuming anything. Just conjecture based on knowing some highly competitive people. Stuff like that matters, despite what they may say to the contrary.

Conjecture, speculation, assumption...it's all the same. All we know is that Belichick in the past has said that he doesn't want to coach past 70. Anything other than that is pure guesswork on our part.

A reason to let Brady go is that his play Is slipping. Like in the NFCC. Like all the naysayers on this board touting that Brady cant beat New Orleans. The Buccaneers were not even favored in the Super Bowl at home. Brady was not invited to the Pro Bowl. Holidays tweet is definitely a window into BBs mindset to let Brady go.

After 6 Super Bowl Championships, Brady deserved to leave when he wanted and Beleichick does as well.

the real issue and nobody is willing to address...the size of BB's man boobs. They are getting bigger every year. What's up with that and I am concerned. Time he invest in "The Bro"

Belichick thought that 2020 Cam would play like 2016 Brady and that 2020 Brady would play like, well, 2020 Cam

Cam got signed because he was cheap. When you have $28M in dead cap to clear, you don't get many options.

I don't agree on the Hooters Holiday take

Kraft is the one who implied Brady had lost it when he said Brady should have just retired when he was on top.

The only thing about this whole thread that I find surprising and/or disturbing is that Matt Patricia would be the replacement. I would be quite happy to have Josh McDaniels take over, and 3 years ago I would have thought that McD would be the HC this coming season as BB and Brady both retired after 2021.

Assumption implies I know it to be true without fact.... Conjecture is a guess based on incomplete information... There is a difference between the two...

Are we back to the "they hate their coach" zone yet? Has he lost the team?
