Nice piece by Hurley, with about 7-8 Gifs showing the pressure Brady was dealing with last night:

You Can't Blame Tom Brady And Other Leftover Patriots Thoughts

Another reminder that despite the lack of depth at receiver, the offensive line has also been a mess this year and certainly has made this season harder than it's needed to be.

More like they have underachieved! No excuses for this bunch. I guess dante can’t be a miracle worker.

What has happened to Cannon?

Every game he gets beat like a drum. Last season he was a stud.

Frank Clark quote: “We’ll be seeing them in the playoffs," Clark said, per The Boston Globe. "Hopefully we do. I want them again. They don’t have a tackle that can block us. Speed, power, whatever we were throwing at them, they couldn’t handle.”

I've never seen such a quote. Josh needs to deal with it all it's not the first year the line is **** despite all fans outside NE thinking we always have the best Olines.

His play has slipped this year no question. So has Shaq's.

I read somwhere he was dealing with something. Don’t known if it’s physical or emotional.

Scar has been possessed by the ghost of Googs.

But Brady is total garbage and falling off the steepest cliff of all time, lol

While I agree the OL had problems last night, and I largely blamed them earlier in the year especially when Newhouse was in, opposing defenses give the Patriots WRs so little respect that DCs like Spagnuolo are showing no compunction at sending extra defenders on blitzes. They are not scared.

Brady was moving well in the pocket and avoiding what rush he could. Aside from that flinching throw to Edelman on the outroute on 4th down. That being said he still wasn’t finding anyone open and got stuck chucking it into the dirt.

The center of the line is soft. Center and guard play is soft, both in run and pass protection. Especially pass protection. The line is really missing David Andrews in the center position.

To me the real criticism of Brady is not throwing to Meyers on 4th down and instead to Edelman.

Am I wrong? Meyers looked open

As the knowledgeable on this forum said, Newhouse was only one of several problems.

Cannon's been ill, but what's up with Mason? They were blowing by him.

Ferentz got destroyed time and time again and needed a lot of help from Mason and Thuney. There were multiple times where I saw him get bull rushed almost into a pancake. The performance he put on tape was so bad that I hope it doesn’t strain BB and his dad’s relationship. Half joking. But mother of God, was he bad.

I know I've been beating this drum for a bit.
But this team has more holes than we've had in a long time.
Brady is not the problem other then rookie receivers never flourishing under him.
His fast ball is gone I'm still on record and have been we should of kept Jimmy G and traded Tom to San Fran.
Now the reason Bill should move on from Tom is that their are so many holes to fill the O line tight end receiver and our defensive studs are mostly free agents.
Only way without budget barrel miracles to make this team compete is to take Tom's cap off the team.
He is at the point in his career physically where he needs top tier talent to put up typical Tom quality games.
Blame the awful drafting blame the free agent misses on offense.
Blame this coaching staff for not developing and keeping receivers Brady cant get in sync with.

Now is the time to do whats best for both sides and close the book on this amazing quarterback do whats best for both of us let Tom go to the Chargers please not the Dolphins.
We have too many holes not enough cap and we need to March forward with Stidham or whoever we think the best QB is to move forward with.

It’s not like Dante forgot how to coach. He’s still regarded as one of if not the best in the game. Brutal luck with injuries this season. We lost our starting C and a rookie guard who could’ve solid interior depth before the season started, our LT for 2 months early in the year and since getting Wynn back we’re down to our #3 center and our entire right side is gutting it out right now in part because we have no other options.

Mason and Cannon picked a bad time to have down years.

As Coach cap would say "Thanks Dad Ferentz" Ted Karras much better.

Man.
Props to Brady. After being so down on this game almost the whole time, after that 1st down scramble in the 4th quarter, he was so pumped. Even Bill was on the sidelines doing the first down point.

The man still has that fire in him and wants to win. Love Brady. Just hope he's here until he retires.
