Again, think about how he left Oakland. And then basically threw it in their face that he had forced his way out. And he was having a big laugh at the NFL. The League (Goodell) don’t like that....exempt list for AB when all the lawsuits appeared. Kraft say, bye bye. No one want AB for weeks and weeks. Last week, Seahawks look at AB, sign Josh Gordon. Not sure why some fans are confused. The League’s investigation into AB is scheduled to finish mid-February.

I think the offense actually showed some good signs in the passing game, even in the loss. Sanu was a beast with Edelperson but we need more outside receiving. Dorsett is decent but not even in the same galaxy as AB. Shoot, you get AB in here and I bet Brady stays for sure.

He shot his way out of OAK.

I understand how some very astute posters @KontradictioN believe once his legal issues are resolved and/or the league has cleared him there is a possibility can return to the team. He hasn't been convicted of a crime therefor hes eligible to play. I get it.

I understand why Bill rolled the dice on him. His talent is undeniable and the culture here is one in which can help him conform. Back then I was apprehensive, but on board.

Fact of the matter is he is not a conformist and on this team he needs to be. He is all about himself. If he were to come back I have no doubt hes gonna tweet dumb crap. Hes gonna text regardless what the team asks him to refrain from doing. Hes unstable. Hes going to want the spotlight. He will do something controversial off the field. Its inevitable he would do something to shoot his way out of here.

As I've said before we could use the talent but not AB the wackjob.

To me, this is one of the bigger reasons to bring him back. NE has been hamstrung by personnel. Plugging in AB instantly make A) WR corps better, B) Running game better, C) OL better, and more. Him just being on the field will make the defense give extra attention.

I would think that RKK would call up Rog and ask if he'd be put on the C/E list upon being signed. If so, they just leave him be. If he is available and can play right away, plus the offense struggles out of the bye, I could see a minor panic setting in, especially if there is another injury (We know Edelman and Dorsett are somewhat banged up)

I think Sanu was good, but he only had 81 yards. Not a lot of YAC on 10 catches. He's a good piece to complement JE11, but like you said AB makes the offense dynamic.

According to reports as of last Sunday AB has yet to speak with the NFL regarding the accused rape.

I also think the NFL has told teams he will be placed on the exempt list if anyone decides to sign him.

If he did go on the exempt list it would be unprecedented for the nfl to do so with this case being a civil case and would most certainly open a can of worms and become a major issue to get a new CBA done.

I think the owners and the Nflpa are in agreement on this to just let him stay a free agent until all his legal issues and the investigation is completed.

Wouldn't be surprised if AB is resigned by us in 2020 offseason once the smoke clears, hopefully in route to a 3 peat and 19-0 season.
