I edited my initial post to better reflect my thoughts, which I admitted I poorly stated initially.

There was no attempt to pull the rug out from other posters, although I do understand why my edit(s) could be perceived as such. That was not, however, my intent.

I agree that calling out posters' reactions is unsavory. I've removed that part of my post -- I should not have done that, and I appreciate you holding me accountable for that.

Hopefully you’re right. But I doubt it. She’s already come this far. Might as well keep pushing it to paydirt. And people are flabbergasted that others don’t immediately take the accuser at her word anymore. The women that lie about this stuff are doing infinitely more damage to the women who actually get sexually assaulted/raped and report it than any attorney for the defendants ever could.

That would be the job of her parents to bring her up right. After that she makes her own decisions about dating jackasses. There is a difference between someone being assaulted by a stranger in an alleyway and this situation but you know that.

Prosecutors look at situations like this as an opportunity to get their name out there

Like the lawyer tweeting how they were going to take her case pro bono, as if out of the goodness of their hearts... in reality they know it’s a lot of publicity and a way to get their name out there, and there is always a reasonable chance they will get some sort of settlement

This woman needs to be taken from the alter of her "wedding" and into a jail cell.

Two reasons why I would not be surprised if goodell* puts AB on comm* exempt list.

1) Most all sports talk shows, be it, TV, radio, youtube etc are not "Making a Judgement Yet" but their narrative is putting AB on exempt list ASAP. With all their talk, would this put pressure on goodell* to act and do it just before Sunday vs Phins?

2) Did goodell* put it out there for media* to set it up so he can ease into his decision without real backlash looking like he's accusing AB before all facts?

I know, conspiracy theories but it is Pats who are involved and we all know how that goes.
