Well deserved. Hard worker, talented & versatile. Happy for him. Real question is..will this clear up money for an AB signing?

Unless he takes a discount, this signing isn't going to be cheap based on recent slot CB deals.

Great underrated 4 down player though. He's supposedly taken his game to the next level at camp.

Great & expected news after trading away Dawson and Crossen.

Wonder how much?

So, they’re not trading him away?

This could be a nickel corner market setting contract

Was either this or a trade. I liked either option. Bet this is in the neighborhood of $7-8M/year.

I'm guessing it'll be in line with the recent nickel "megadeals" but not quite the highest one. I could see it being market setting though.

That would be a steal. Coleman just signed a $9M/year contract. Jones > Coleman.

Wasn't expecting this as it seemed he would get a big pay day and was worried about his replacement as it was clearly missed in SB52.

He’s really one of the better cbs we have ever had.

I could definitely see him getting market value, but I have a hunch it'll be for a bit less.

Hope JC Jackson has another good year and gets paid as well.

my guess is 4 years for $40M
the question is the amount of guaranteed money

IMO I think they see Jones as the next starting FS...whenever that may be. I'm very happy about the extension.

That would be a pretty big discount. I'd love those numbers given what Coleman & co have gotten last Spring.

I love the move. If only he had been available for the Eagles SB.
