If he's cut tomorrow oh well.
The matter of fact is that in the 3 games Shelton was inactive last year
our opponents averaged 7.3, 6.3 and 9 yards per carry.
In the 13 games Shelton played, opponents averaged 4.5 yards per carry.
This signing was necessary.
On paper this is one of the strongest teams that I can remember, they are loaded at just about every position.
Veteran OT Jared Veldheer has informed the Patriots that he plans to retire, per a source
If you prefer, consider then the supposition that we had more options at LT last year than we do this year, which seems to be either a recovering-from-an-Achilles-tear Wynn or a breaking-down Veldheer whom we hope to catch during one of his fewer & fewer healthy stretches, or Yawndy Cachoo, who's already on his way to becoming an IR Body, same as Boney Tony (who was released one year ago May 11th).actually, you had Garcia penciled in as your best case LT a year ago.......in your perpetual negativity, you're moving your own goalposts now.....we were just as unsure about LT at this time last year.

........as of 05/10/2018..........................as of 05/20/2019
Plan A: a healthy Isaiah Wynn.........a recovering Isaiah Wynn
Plan B: an unknown Trent Brown....a breaking-down Veldheer
Plan C: Boney Tony Garcia...............a recovering Yawndy Cachoo
Plan D: Adrian Waddle.....................Croston
Plan E: Croston.................................the tackling dummy-ship of Skipper, St Louis & Lang
The position is Not equally unsettled this year as last; it's More unsettled this year than it was last year, especially now that Veldheer has retired.again........the position is equally unsettled this year as last.....try to avoid using your 20/20 hindsight
They're loaded with 90ish players for camps. That's how they're loaded. They're not loaded with awesome talent across the board. It's business as usual, and some will shine while some disappoint.
Hell, according to Reiss, the team is already losing one of the OTs.

And I have no idea what "20/20 hindsight" crap you're talking about. It was unsettled last year, but at least there were more options available to us then than there are now, as I had previously stated. Why is that so hard to understand?
Opinions are like buttholes, everyone has one.. in mine this team looks deeper with mucho schematic flexibility that I have seen in a while..
They've been to 4 of the last 5 Super Bowls and won 3. They're pretty good . . .We get that same line, in one form or another, from people every year. Every year, the homers tell us that this team is, like, the bestest in, like, forever. Every year save one, they've been wrong.
As long as it's the best team in football this year and not all time I'm happyWe get that same line, in one form or another, from people every year. Every year, the homers tell us that this team is, like, the bestest in, like, forever. Every year save one, they've been wrong.

Yes, but that's a different issue.
He was a healthy scratch for 4 of 19 gamesHe was a healthy scratch for most of the year, then made that great play in the Super Bowl and reminded everyone he was still around. Good depth, but surprising they signed him after an overall disappointing year.
However, Gerald McCoy would be a nice add.

That is the issue
