Is it even possible for this team to get HFA any longer?

SO, let me get this straight. we Beat the packers and hold Aaron rodgers to 17points and the defense is making strides we are championship bound!

now, we get a beatdown from the Titans less than a week later and our team is trash and has no chance in the playoffs?

Jeez. the overreactions by fans here is abit much....If we can come out of the Bye with a healthy Michel, Edelman and Gronk I like our chances. I dont see Gilmore who has been lights out this season having that poor of a game again. yesterday he let up more yards than the previous 4-5 games combined they said.

Green Bay is not the Green Bay of yesterday. They are devoid of talent around Rodgers and on the other side of the ball.

Pittsburgh and the Viking dont have that issue. Pittsburgh has more receiving TDs with A Brown than the entire NE receiving corps minus J White. Conner has more TDs than the entire NE RB group. Patterson is your leading rusher in yards per carry.

Not good enough. Counting on Burkhead to the rescue is like counting on the Powerball. Sony has not lived up to billing. Maybe next year. Chubb blew up for the Browns yesterday. I watch these other teams and they have actual run games and not the Little Rascals by committee like the Patriots.

I don't think the Chiefs can maintain this historic rate over the rest of the season. The fire will die out

You also need to factor in that there's still a possibility that a lesser seed pulls off the upset and knocks Kansas City out, potentially putting the AFC Championship game at Gillette depending on where New England finishes. So while it doesn't look promising at the moment, it certainly doesn't look impossible for them to end up playing in February. We've certainly seen it happen before

Have to focus on #2 seed now, mostly because we need an extra bye.

This team really lacks talent but it's still a Patriots team, the Titans are decent and that was a classic trap game or that season stinker of every year (although I think that's a game yet to come), I'm not reading too much into this game, we got outplayed from the kickoff until the last snap. After that kickoff return and the Titans confirming the TD I knew it was going to be ugly, that's a playoff team by the way.

HFA seems unlikely

A bye is starting to seem unlikely

Feels like 2009 redux - too many injuries, too many gaps in talent, a core which needs to be turned over. Disastrous offseason and age/injury decline from key players has left this team a shell of its 2014-2016 self

*IF* this is a championship caliber team, (A big if at the moment) they need to be able to take on and defeat all comers. Avoiding a tough match up implies that they cannot get the job done.

3rd road loss.

The Pats are not beating Pittsburgh either. Copy and paste my words.

Brady looks old and frustrated out there. Almendola is sorely missed that's for sure. Brady is locking in on Gordon, Edelman or Gronk when he plays. Hogan has disappeared and Dorsett is a disappointment. Dorsett was trying to make a silk purse from a sows ear. Brady used to spread the wealth around back in the Brown, Givens, Branch days. At times Brady just throws it up and hopes.

I just don't feel it this year. I don't like going to KC or Pittsburgh with their offensive weapons vs NEs
You know we won a lot of games since brown and givens left us right ?And scored a lot of points since those guys left. But lets just make blanket assessments after 1 loss going deep into history books.

Or Saints with this defense.

Jags and Titans WRs run free, Saints would have a field day.
When are we playing the saints ?

They need to play the rams and the chargers still. Those games can go either way. And anyways people crying about the pats woes for some reason everytime need to check what the chiefs have done in the playoffs. They lost to the titans at home last yr. A much worser titan team this one. Its not like chiefs rule the playoffs.

Today must be christmas for you after a pats loss. Did you see the steelers 3-4 weeks ago ? they lost to baltimore at home which has lost 4 straight now. But sure, lets anoint them as champs.

How they're playing in December is going to obviously be the litmus test for how good they can be in January. Teams playing their best football down the stretch are the ones who tend to have the postseason success and yesterday's loss obviously creates some question marks that we just don't know the answers to at this point.

Could it change in a few weeks? Of course - we just experienced it during a six-game win streak after things looked relatively questionable early on. But health seems to be the bigger concern because at this point, they're in tough shape. They've won before without Gronk, but Edelman still seems like he's not 100% yet and if the offensive line continues to struggle, that will nullify the other positives since they need those guys to be able to run as effective or protect Brady.

It's only November 12th and a lot can change. Things can also happen with other teams that will reset the balance and injuries could play a part, although I don't wish injuries on anyone - but things happen. At 7-3, it could definitely be worse. But fingers crossed - hopefully they'll bounce back and improve over the final six games.

Also, on a separate note, best wishes to Mahomes and his girlfriend. I guess her stepfather was at the game yesterday and collapsed and passed away at the stadium. Just terrible news :(

Patrick Mahomes skips postgame after girlfriend says her stepfather collapsed at Arrowhead Stadium, died

What took you so long?

Its the tired old "youre not a real fan" mantra if you do not drink the Patsfan.com Homer koolaid.

Drink up. You can have my cup.

Nobody called you "not a real fan". Its your act which is the same tired "everything and every sucks" instead of keeping things in perspective. . Keep lamenting about givens and branch . those guys went away in 2006 . And then check what we have done after. But keep lamenting if it makes you feel better . Whatever works for you.

when = "in" atlanta. ? thanks

Im not used to explaining everything in infinite detail because I assume that the majority of people can follow along.

I was responding to another Poster mentioning that the Rams as a team that would beat NE.

Do you understand?
