It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Being able to lift 225 only 5! times will tend to make one struggle vs the run at times. And except for his COD abilities as shown by his 3-cone time (but not by his extremely slow shuttle) and his hands, he is very unimpressive athletically. There should be better options at CB on day 3 than him.Sometimes I write down “player“ to a prospect. Strangely enough I do that rarely.
I did that for Kittle (when he was not on boards yet, but started to feature on this board). Today I did that for CB Channing Stribling, a wonderful Day 3 option. He struggles vs run at times...

Just to show how poor tht is i could bench 225 for 15 reps on a good day and i was 43 years old.Being able to lift 225 only 5! times will tend to make one struggle vs the run at times. Good point, bp is more applicable to line men or line backers who need to push an opponent away.Bench also has the lowest correlation to football success of all testing metrics, so unless the guy is physically unable to lift the bar, I don't see what it has to do with his ability to play cornerback.
The insanity of how deep this draft is.
I saw a mock that had us taking:
De/olb Anderson -Alabama
CB Sutton -tenn.
De hall -Texas a&m
With our first three picks.

Ha! Sounds like a dream scenario for you.
Stribling is a terrible athlete, but a fine technician. He's the kind of guy who would be considered a first round sort of talent if he were just a little faster, stronger, and quicker, etc. It's tough to gamble on guys like that too early in the draft, but I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up carving out a marginal career for longer than some of the more gifted guys ahead of him, just because he's a lot better at football than he is at athletic testing. He might not be a starter, but he's not a bad player.

Not my perfect draft but I would be very happy with it. Three potential future starters there. In fact, the more I think about it, the happier I am with that outcome. And more importantly, it is more realistic than hoping for a Basham or Willis to fall.
Hall has one of the highest upsides of any mid-round pass rusher I can remember. That
move was sick!
@manxman2601 said it months ago before Basham & Hall were well known: Drafting both of them would be a heck of a draft. Too bad we'd have to trade up now.
Daeshon Hall vs Tennessee (2016) | Draft Breakdown
Warming up to Hall as high as 72. He could be a beast here with time.
Ideal:
Flowers (starter)
Basham (starter)
Ealy (situational)
Hall (developmental inactive)
I go back and forth on Hall. His testing numbers say that he's an elite prospect, and an absolutely perfect fit for what we look for (basically equals or betters Chandler Jones at every turn), but there's so much of his tape that I don't like (mostly due to bad technique, though; when he gets it right he's great). Most of it has to do with using his arms correctly, because when he's on, he's just about unblockable. Definitely a high-upside type of pick. I wouldn't complain at all if we chose to take a shot at developing him here.

Guys. I have terrible news. One of our own is being unfaithful on another forum.
