Holy ****.
Im telling you Butler for Cooks get ready
Maybe for only one year. Not to be a downer but can we really pay both after this season?
I thought we'd spend that money on Butler. It's kind of shocking to see them sign Gilmore who gets torched by Brady twice a year.I don't think so. You gotta pay someone.
With cap at 172 mil, 14 mil is not as big. I hope BB extends Butler.BB doesn't pay both Corners big money
If im Malcolm Butlers agent i'm not playing a snap without a new contract if they're out paying Gilmore huge money.
Rumor has been that Gilmore was using the Janoris Jenkins deal as his baseline ... $62.5M ($12.5M APY).Wow i'm shocked, i can't wait to see the $$$

Yes, the most likely outcome here is that it cancels out the third round pick from losing Ryan. They'd get a third if Hightower leaves, while Bennett is on that 3rd/4th bubble if the rumored $9 million is accurate. There are also a number of potential fifth round comp pick candidates like Harmon and Sheard. He was not released. So, I guess he counts in the compensatory pucks. Can someone confirm?
Also, if Marty signs a big contract elsewhere, will be get a 3/4 comp pick?
I don't think it says anything about HT. Different position, and we have $ to spend.14+ a year....what does that say for Butler....and any effect on DH?
Butler is going to see this and go..."**** this" Holdout incoming?
Ugh. Of course they can afford to sign anyone but I'm talking about the long range structure of the team. Can you afford to have 2 of the top 5 or so highest paid corners on the same team AND NOT BE CRIPPLED BY IT OVER THE REST OF YOUR ROSTERYes, the Patriots can, they are 55 million under the cap
