Fair enough, the conclusion is, "the easiest way to tilt the draft in your favor is to amass extra picks. And while trading up isn't quite as damaging as I might have guessed after analyzing the data, I'd encourage you to be at least a little skeptical the next time you see your team's draft...
Why is it that everyone who disagrees with the Pats decisions is immediately labeled as whiner?
For example, I though that we did well filling the position we needed, but would have prefered Troy Franklin over Ja'Lynn Polk. Am I whinning, no just disagree with the player chosen.
Christian Gonzalez Mrarcus Jones, Jonathan Jones, Kyle Dugger, Jabril Peppers, all high quality starters.
Who exactly do we have at WR besides Pop and Bourne, who's coming off a major injury???
What would be the benefit for AZ to give up any compensation to move from 4 to 3 and have to pay a higher slotted salary just to end up with the same player they would have gotten if they did nothing???
If you include the total value of his contract, at 58 Mil, he is about 9th on the safety pay hierchy which I think is mostly appropriate based on his play over the last 4 years, not last year as I thought he took a noticeable step back.
At no point did I whine about anything, I simply disagree...
I am not sure that I need to leave just because I have a difference of opinion from some of the other homers here.
Dugger was not a great re-sign, unlike Onwenu was or Barmore could have been.
But seeing that he only got $32.5 mil guaranteed does soften the blow a little.
