Agreed! Brady maybe, but I get the feeling if he tried to fake being bad he'd still look better than half the starters in the league

I think Cassel just isn't a great QB, plain and simple. Not beyond hope as a backup, but not good.

Sure it could.

If the Jets win the AFC (which I sincerly doubt) NE would be fighting it out for a Wildcard spot. If you begin 1 - 3, that doesnt leave a heck of a lot of room for error. 4 more losses would mean youre 9 - 7.

Even though it's a bit of a grassy knoll , with Belichick anything's possible so it's hard to rule anything out LOL. I'm convinced a lot of what we saw this preseason doesn't represent what we're going to get. Only BB could inspire such panderings-dontcha just love him

Brady has been at practice for a while now since he got the injury including today. If he was going to miss a month worth of games, he wouldn't be practicing.

This looks to be this year's version of Moss getting cut rumor.

First of all, if Brady is out for 2-4 weeks, I guarantee they bring in a vet or desperately try to--duh.

Sorry if this offends anyone--not my intention--but as someone who has been lambasted for making chicken little posts, this is all funny as hell to me, not that I don't want to see this team succeed as much as anyone else:

Speculate as to:

Whether TB is injured and if so, possibile QB being brought in=chicken little;

Whether Cassell is good enough to step in=chicken little

Whether we could be a significantly different team vs. last season=chicken little;

Whether we need more depth or experience at LB/Secondary=chicken little;

...I could go on and on. Seems like some around here who pompously flame others every chance they get because of their supposed inside football knowledge are today exhibititing the faintest indications of what they have been so quick to label as "panic."
