With the reported acquisition of John Lynch from profootballtalk.com and the absence of Rodney Harrison from training camp practices for reasons unknown.....it reminds me a lot of last year when Rodney stopped practicing inexplicably...so to me he is either

A) injured or...
B) facing another HGH**** suspension....

What do ya'll think

Rodney was never suspended for steroids. He took Human Growth Hormone, HGH, a natural substance which is against the NFL's substance use policy.

I think he has been given a day off just like most veterans get from time to time. I think it is totally unrelated to Lynch being signed.

Obvious it is some kind of injury...he stopped practicing because of the suspension...and IF that was the case.it would not happen until before Game 1...

That's what everyone thought last year as well...it happened during training camp and everyone was under the impression that it was the veterans treatment.. it got the wheels turning on getting asante to camp IMO

Huh? You do realize that Rodney was suspended for HGH and there is no test for HGH? You do realize that he was suspended because the company he bought from was raided by the FBI and they gave the FBI his name and Rodney refused to deny it? Do you realize the odds of that happening again?

You are jumping to conclusions with no real facts to support it. Rodney didn't miss any practices last preseason due to his suspension nor can the league block a player who is suspended from practicing in the preseason.

Sorry, Lynch, if in fact signed, is because we lost Tank Williams, not Rodney.

It was the coaches decision to not use Rodney in TC last year. I'm not saying he is using again...its just a possibility given the similar circumstances. And yes he did miss TC b/c of this situation...it happened...not b/c of the league...b/c of the team

If you are suspended for the first four games of the season, I believe you can practice with the team through the last preseason game, then you have to take a hike until the day after the 4th game of the season.

Are you saying HGH isn't a natural substance?

It's a natural substance...the medically distributed form is developed through fungus from my understanding...if this helps any ya'll out. Not that it matters, i see his point...its cheating...whether it was for injuries like he said or not...IMO injuries are part of the game

Ya...but last year Rodney went "missing" as soon as the Panthers game was over...as we later found it...it was not injury related.

I think you are bored! How do you completely ignore the season ending injury to Tank, but yet link a missed practice from Harrison to Lynch. And then you don't stop there you continue to speculate, not on one, but two unsubstantiated figments of you're imagination.

I think you need to get out of the heat....

Ya I agree Tank was probably the reason....I'm just saying it might be a possibility

Not in the sense that you are making it out to be. Natural as in it’s not a chemically combined substance but obviously not the way you implied it but I guess since he is on the patriots he’s a martyr :woohoo:

It is cheating now and abusing it is definitely cheating. But, in the near future the majority of Americans over 40 will be on some sort of regiment of HGH. Obviously not to the Barry Bonds extreme, but to replenish the hormone up to the level that their body previously produced. And it won't be to far fetched for it to be used legally within sports under a doctors supervision during a recovery period. I realize the initial fear is how do you control it, but the owners invest way to much money in these players for them to ignore HGH, once people understand it better.

Am I reading this right? That for no other reason than a missed practice, you're starting a rumor of drug use and suspension? Irresponsible, IMO.

hes been gone for 2 weeks....its more than likely an injury..im just saying it could have happened...whats wrong with that? I mean he used in the past..it's a discussion board...discussion is allowed to contain inferences is it not?

This isn't "drawing inferences," it's wild speculation based on nothing...and it will spread.
