2026 NFL Combine

Thieneman's goal was a 4.3.

They must drink some special water in the Styles family.

Safety 2nd run improvements

Bud Clark - 4.48 to 4.44
Jalon Kilgore - 4.42 to 4.40
EMW - 4.55 to 4.53

I have never seen a draft so deep. Wowsah.
I think every defensive group has been the fastest group ever. Linebackers and safeties especially. @One-If-By-Sea will be happy.

It's not that they've been especially fast, it's that none have been slow.

I think this will become kind of the norm because of the transfer portal. More talent getting a chance to play means more late bloomers developing into draftable players. Some of these guys would be starting internships at hedge funds or real estate firms or whatever in the past.

What we're seeing is that there are a lot more NFL caliber football players in the world than we previously thought, they just didn't always have the opportunity to go down that path in the past.

Yes very happy. I am more of a Vrabel guy in approach than BB, although you never pass on Seymour or McGinest. Also I love BB, just prefer faster cover LBs and FS.

Not particularly impressive. No-one seems to run the 3-cone anymore. It was like this last year.

I have said this before. 100% agree.

NCAA football is much more interesting and competitive, and has become a developmental system. Prospects are more mature, and take a more professional approach.

The football players on scholarships would go to hedge funds?

Some thoughts.

1. He probably doesn't pass him, but it wouldn't surprise me if Dillon Thieneman pushes Caleb Downs pushes for safety 1.

2. Outstanding gauntlet from Zakee Wheatley

3. I'm still impressed by Michael Taaffe. He looks so well coached in these drills. He may never be more than a backup but he'll have a solid career.

4. Credit to Mayo. He's been high on Thieneman since day 1.

It starts.
