I know this board traveled well during the Brady/Bill era but this one came out of no where and I'm wondering if anyone is considering going?

I envy whoever gets into that game.

I was thinking about going for 3 weeks now. My brother in law is working the SB for his company (limo service), he said I can share the hotel room for free, and my sister is a travel agent, so she can book the flights, he told me this after the Pats beat the Chargers in the first playoff game. He said if they win 2 more playoff games, that I should go.

But the SB tickets are so insanely high. Can’t find a single ticket for under $7000. So most likely not going, though I want to. I’m 63 years old, and didn’t go to any of the Pats other 11 Super Bowls. The younger folks in my office tell me YOLO, but it’s just way too expensive.

My dad was a Patriots season ticket holder from 2001-2023, but we never went to a Super Bowl.

I’ve finally finished by training and I’m in the fortunate position where I can finally consider getting tickets.

I just booked hotel 12 miles away from Levi Stadium.

Realistically, I want to be at $10k or less total to get in for two tickets. Cheapest pair of tickets is around $13k on stubhub

For those who have traveled to the game before, any chance these prices will drop to closer to $10k for two range? The Silicon Valley proximity probably means this will the most expensive game ever.

I'm seriously considering going.

I go on the cheap. I drive and get to see that part of the country which I never have. I have driven through all the other quadrants, but the NW. So, there is no need to rent a car or buy a flight and I can set my own flexible itinerary. Lodging is always available at standard pricing. At one of the Phoenix Super Bowls I stayed in Mesa, AZ which was 45 minutes from the stadium.

Ticket prices will be out of sight.

I’ll probably go. My daughter lives 3.5 hours from the stadium (Truckee, CA) so I’m thinking we drive to the game the morning of and after the game stay somewhere like Sacramento if nothing is available closer by.

I went to the Pats-Rams SB and it was amazing. Tickets were really cheap for that game (I got a ticket for about 3k the week before). I'm so damn happy I did it.

I used to drive through Truckee every week on my way to Reno. Some of the harshest winter weather you'll ever see up that way. It can be 55 and sunny in Sacramento an hour away and a blizzard in the Truckee/Colfax area.

My daughter and boyfriend have been bummed out that it’s been so snow-free this year so far. If I go, I’ll probably go out a day early just in case something wacky happens with the weather here in Rhode Island or there in Truckee or somewhere in the middle.

My ex won tickets for 3 years. This is her last year, and she’s an eagles fan. Should I hit her up?

Considering it, but the prices look really high. might take some market movement the week of to get me to pull the trigger...

I'd consider it if it was closer, but I have a lot of flying for work over the next few weeks and I'm not really hyped up to add a coast to coast in there. If it was Florida or Atlanta I'd think about it

Yeah the last Seahawks SB they were over 10k. I expect much of the same or worse. Still kicking myself for not going in 2011 tix dropped to under $900 just before kickoff. I almost left that morning about an 8 hour drive to Indy. I "went" to Phoenix, Houston and Atlanta. Borrowed a TV and antenna from Walmart and tailgated near the stadium watching the game. It was cool being in the atmosphere without the crazy tix prices.

Truckee is one of my favorite towns in Ca.

My buddies used to travel from Sacramento to Reno to gamble, and always put chains on their tires to travel through the snow.

Tempted but no. I prefer watching in the comfort of my home. If we ever got enough people on this board to agree I'd consider it.

I've considered it. Quick flight from my town and I've got family in Sacramento, so it's all doable...

Those ticket prices though...****in hell

+1 +1

It ain't like driving on the Mass Pike. It is winding, curvy mountain roads of increasing/decreasing elevation. Hell, that's where the Donner Family ate each other.
