Pats opening as -3 favorites in New Orleans.

Beat the Giants but they needed 5 turnovers to do it. Sounds familiar.

Rattler looks decent.

It's a road game, Saints coming off a win, it's not that crazy.
They’re really bad. It would be devastating to beat the Bills only to lose any of these next three.
They're not bad, it should be a close game and they could beat us if we don't play well. Rattler reminds me of Baker Mayfield. So -3 sounds about right.

Giants turned a 14-3 lead into a 26-14 loss to the Saints almost all because of mistakes and we're still prone to them.

Hopefully a point of emphasis this week.

Hopefully we can play the rest of the season with a new found swagger.

If we can bring the defensive effort we had against the Bills on a regular basis, and the offense continues to make strides this is going to be a very nice season.

Mayfield is in the MVP conversation. Different tiers of QB's.

Are you referring to how competitive both are. Taking hits and getting right back up?

Not if the Patriots play mistake free football.

Hopefully we can play the rest of the season with a chip on our shoulder.

Don't let this become a trap game. Road game after an emotional win. Easy to have a letdown.

Keep the intensity and execution up, avoid costly mistakes, take nothing for granted. The rest will follow.

They’re really bad.
The Saints played the Bills tough in Orchard Park the game previous to ours. And the Bills played better that game then they did in ours.

And many Patriot fans will come away realizing that Spencer Rattler is legit as QB. Not the dogsh-t they had assumed.

Will Campbell going back home? Mr Nasty possibly facing Chase Young?

Ole friend Godchaux is their starting NT. I love what Tonga is doing for us. Quite the find.

Major trap teams, though.

Saints and Browns have given good teams major fits. Even the Titans have showed fight.

We need to be locked in for all of these. Major let down spots.

The Pats are still mistake prone and we saw some last night. Mistakes levels the playing field between us and any team no matter how they are. Like I said hopefully a point of emphasis on the fumbles and stupid penalties.

Because if injuries to their OL, the Saints were forced to start an undrafted rookie at RG. The Giants, with one of the best Dlines, had 7 or 8 pressures given up by Torricelli Simpkins III, who played at South Carolina. But still QB Spencer Rattler had a very respectable game, even pitching an 87 yarder.

He was 21 out of 31 for 225 yards, one TD and 0 interceptions. He did have one pick that was called back because of a Giant penalty.

I know the Bills was a statement game. But it also was a huge positional playoff game. They won one they shouldn't. The Bills played subpar for them and the Pats were good enough to take advantage. They weren't perfect... but good enough to beat a better Bills team that played worse. Getting that win now changes the playoff dynamic.

I think if KC wins the Pats are the 8th team right now. But we all know in reality going by the schedule ahead the Pats are now in the drivers seat for the playoffs. If they take care of business they are making it. I don't see a way they are kept out if they generally win the games they should win and lose the games they should lose. They just can't stumble too much. The Saints game is in some ways just as important as the Bills game. And will tell us in some ways just as much as the Bills game did.

This is a team that needs to learn how to win, and how to be consistent. For the first time in a long time they won 2 games in a row. Now they need to show they can do that and not have a let down. Can they string good solid games together more than just back to back? That is a huge question.

It isn't a stretch to say if they beat NO most of the questions about this team's character are answered. Then it becomes more about health, match ups and the consistency of Maye's play as an individual.

No, it's their height, rifle arm, mobility, spunk. Rattler can throw. Mayfield kicked around for years, and this kid reminds me of him.

I don't worry about the Saints because of the way they beat the Giants, but because of how they almost beat the Bills a week ago.

Totally agree, there's not a team on our schedule that can't beat us. They all seem to have physical defenses and just enough offense to hurt you. We're not good enough to roll the ball out there and expect to beat teams. And worried about our overall depth if we start losing guys like Gibson.
