DJ Moore anyone?

Rob,

Thanks for bringing this up. I mentioned DJ Moore as a player we should have been in on over the offseason. He was reported unhappy in Chicago last season and he did put up big production with fields at QB. He absolutely should be a guy we are in on. Seemingly Josh doesn't want to use the feild strecher we already have in Williams so why not take a shot at DJ. How about sending pop and a 6th for DJ??..
Who the hell wants Pop Douglas?

Hmmmmmm let me see...

That could change pretty quickly... play Kyle Williams more.
Just my thinking.. Vrabel's said everything will be evaluated. We have two guys will legit speed that defenses have to respect in Henderson and Williams. Why they aren't on the field more often when it's clear teams don't fear anyone else's getting behind them. We need to get our young guys going and becoming routine contributions as the season goes along here.

Drop Douglas is more like it.
Look.. I like pop.. as I'm sure you do.. but we mustn't pretend like he hasn't had gaffes. Welker makes that 1st down, eldeman, amendola, guys he said he studied and idolized.

My guess is with Williams is he is a rookie and still struggling to pick up McDaniels' scheme. Plus Boutte beat him out in the preseason.

Watch the video.

The Steeler running lateraly along the width of the field was closing in. Thelonious was just commenting on how fast these NFL players are and its true.

I did watch the video. If he was past the first down marker, he would have gotten the ball before either defender got to him. We are talking two feet, not twenty yards. The ball would have gotten to Douglas just as fast if he was past the first down marker.

Could be the case. He is on the active roster on game days. So that's a good thing tells he is understanding the offense. It's nothing to ask him to run a good, or a 9 route. Just something to make a defense have to worry. Vrabel's even said himself how he always has a few steps on a defender even gonzo in TC. A few deep connections changes this offense.

Agree with you DJ is a good player, underutilized and will be available. We do sort of need to figure out what we have in Williams and Chism.

Don’t think he’s coming to us/we are the right trade partners unless Chicago will take a Pop Douglas/Conditional 6th **** sandwich just to get rid of him. And I don’t think they will. I think other teams are looking for help, have a realistic shot at the post season and will drive up the price.

KC has a closing window with a hall of fame QB who has nobody to throw the ball to. They will make a move to get him a weapon at some point.

IF we start winning some games we would look appealing.

KC has rice returning and soon worthy guys that will significant help thier offense. . They are hurting without them. I agree with you DC.. Great minds think alike. Pop and a 6th for DJ Moore.. he's perfect for Drake on the outside. Imagine a patiots offense with DJ Moore, Williams on the outside... Diggs and Boutte mixing in chism in the middle of the field.

I guess but as someone who shredded all 3 ligaments in their knee once, I have sympathy for Zay being out of the AFCC.

When I watch the guy, I see an absolute menace. Would love him on the Patriots.
Guess I jinxed him against the Lions

Call me crazy but I may call AZ about Marvin Harrison Jr.
Dolphins about Waddle
And Ravens about Flowers.

A 1st would be the price for any of these three.

I would happily pay it.
Harrison is actually an awful fit in Arizona's offense. His absolute best feature is that he can run routes incredibly well like his father, he's not very physical or improvisational. Unfortunately Kyler is not a deep ball accurate QB, he bails and needs physically tough QB's to break open.

Maye actually could just throw the ball to him on a route he'll win and it would help.

Why stop there? Let's go get Ja'Marr Chase for a bag of magic beans. Better yet, let's go get a DeLorean and put a time machine in it, go back and bring Jerry Rice and Megatron right out of college?
Chase is doing well on his team. Those 3 guys are people who are doing poorly on their current teams because of the situation

MHJ seems soft weird for a guy his size. But he’s the only one of those guys I’d trade a #1 pick for.
He's like his father. Fast and will run great routes. But you need to just accept he's going to win on timing and anticipation. He's not a guy you throw a toss up. He's the opposite of what Harry was billed as. He can play with a QB who knows how to throw to a spot
