Going in to today, Mayo’s job was secure.

No longer.

That was pivotal. National stage to show the utter dysfunction of the Patriots.

Maye trying too hard to get things done. All the while we have two starting OTs that are the league’s worst. And the receiving corps is not much better.

One bright spot: Cole Strange at center.

Maye who is the only bright spot of the season played bad today and that is another thing to show.

I think Mayo is done, that was another NO SHOW like against the Cardinals.

That is the last impression of the season, next game is meaningless for both teams.

This is exactly how I wanted it to go. However, we are facing a double edged sword here. An embarrassing loss means Maye isn't playing well. I'm not impressed with Drake Maye as a lot of posters and people in the media are. He'll give you a throw and a run, but that's it.

We are never going to see what potential this player has unless Bob cleans house and does whatever it takes to team Maye up with a real OC/HC.

Tell me you're not really analyzing what you're seeing without telling me.

Maye is a friggin rookie on the worst roster in Patriots history.

Embarrassing. And there's no question Buffalo was keeping things back last week. If they wanted to, they could have won by four scores.


This once proud and dominant franchise has gone from the penthouse to the outhouse. Bringing back Mayo=New OC. And it won't be a great one since nobody wants to work under a HC on the hot seat. So Maye could be on at least his 3rd OC by 2026.
