Not sure if G. Pickens had as great a week’s practice as T. Thornton but he just made a beautiful 43 yard reception that looked *almost* identical to the long pass that Maye threw to Thornton yesterday. Only difference was that our “One Catch Wonder” dropped his opportunity. So hard to believe that we selected T.T. before G.P. based on his “speed”. So far this year Pickens has 31 receptions vs the T-man’s 4 and 18 of those catches went for +20 yards compared to 0 +20 yard catches for our guy. Pickens ran a 4.47 40 at the combine compared to Thornton’s combine best 4.28 40. Hmmmm, I thought that “speed” kills?!

Thornton's "breakout game" yielded 2 catches instead of his usual 1 or 0.

And that was his second “2 reception” game this season in which we’ve won BOTH! Too bad he only has 4 receptions so far this season. I guess our game plans going forward should include targeting Thornton and get’em 2 catches per game.

Tyquan was such a Reach in the Second it's embarrassing. K Shakir and R Doubs went in the Fourth and Fifth Rounds respectively in 2022 and are way better players than Thornton thanks BB.

Nit-pick about Tyquan much h0c?? He has excuses both times Maye threw it too hard and the other from Zappe was in a rain storm. Jerry Rice would have dropped both.

There is something seriously wrong with the due diligence that our WR scouting personnel are conducting. It's mind boggling how they can be so off target so often for so long.
