Where's Bill?

No one is hoping Mayo fails - its completely disingenuous of you to try to spread that bs.

Unlike you, the "BB crowd" are "ReAl" fans of the team. Don't drop that loyalty as easily as the pink hats (you) did, running to cheer on another team when things got rough.
Weird you say that when like 90% of Team Bill bailed on the team

Say what you will but this is what really happened:

1. There was a segment of posters (not all of which were Team Tom) that questioned Bill's moves, drafts, FAcy hires, Mac Jones, etc. since 2020; that Team Bill labeled as incessantly negative, with an "agenda," not ReAlPaTsFaNs and so on.

2. Team Bill was delusional the entire time living off the "6 rings" fantasy, not realizing or failing to accept the "reality" of the situation that the dynasty was dead, because of their sycophantic beliefs in Bill.

3. Tom went on to win another SB his very 1st year w/ the Bucs. This further enraged the sycophants and turned them toxic towards his supporters and anyone critical of Bill the Messiah.

4. It turns out that all the posters that were critical of Bill were 100% correct on every one of their takes.

5. Desperate and embarrassed that their Saviour being kicked to the curb because of his failure to build a competitive team, a lot of Team Bill went underground. Some acknowledged that Bill had to go like @RobertWeathers and @Steve102 to name a few. While others remained now focused on attacking Kraft, Mayo, and some even hoping they would fail.

6. Yet most of Team Bill were convinced he would go to another team, beat Shula's record and win a SB, to show the entire Country that it was always Bill's system that yielded the success of the dynasty.

7. Now confronted with the reality that no team in the NFL wanted any part of a 72 yo Belichick, they wallow in their misery. And at least for me, I'm enjoying every bit of their salty tears.

FIN
People had to be a f****ing moron not to realize BB needed to go.

Except the roles aren't reversed.

"Team Tom" pushed the narrative when he left. So much so, that they forced the issue so hard that the Tom Brady forum was created. "team Tom" has nobody to blame but themselves; Yet are so blind, they can't see the forest for the trees.

And its the dregs of "Team Tom" pushing the outright hostility now.

Want to call me a Gatekeeper? I'm good with that. Better a gatekeeper than a front runner.
One guy left and won a Super Bowl. One guy left and can’t get a job. Team Bill down bad.

Team Bill down bad.

Yep, only 6 Lombardi’s and 9 conference Championships. It was a terrible run. Kraft never should have hired him, Brady would have gone to another team, Bledsoe would have finished his career as a Patriot. The Patriots might even have won a Super Bowl. And Payton Manning would probably have 5 or 6 rings. He might even have become the GOAT? But Kraft had to blow it all by hiring the duplicitous pond scum.i can see why you guys hate him so much. He really damaged this franchise.

Feels like PR

Feels like Mayo thinks he’s a good defensive coach, and that he showed it calling plays for a defense that has been under siege because they had no offense the last 3 years.

People can rip on Belichick for the performance of the team the last few years. He ran it, it was his responsibility,, and they failed. But the defense didn’t fail, and Steven Belichick was an integral part of their coaching staff. so the people ****ting on him aren’t doing it based upon performance, but simply because he’s Belichick’s kid.

Oh ****. I just realized it. If Belichick didn’t want to come to New England he could have stayed with the Jets. Brady could have been a Jet. They would have 6 Lombardi’s. They could have been the greatest dynasty in NFL history. God Damn. But at least a bunch of Patriot fans would have been happy he never coached the Patriots, cause he suck’s.

I didn't read "retire or retirement" in that post. It just says I am not going to be a die-hard Patriots fan. I am presently viewing all teams and watching the finish of the playoffs, the ones that the Patriots didn't make, thanks to Bob Kraft/Mac Jones.

Lol the 2023 Patriots was Bill Belichicks team. Yes Mac Jones sucked but ultimately all of the decisions that broke Jones in 2022 was all on Belichick

Well, we found Bill, he’s apparently negotiating a TV deal. That’s got to suck, getting millions to talk football.

Which broadcast channel?

So you're no longer a Pats fan?

I disagree. There's definitely a contingent of Team Bill hoping Mayo fails. After slowly getting over the shock of Kraft firing Bill, they put all their remaining cracked eggs in the "he'll break Shula's record" basket with a new team and possibly win 1 or 2 more SBs. Lol

Now all they have left is petty vengence. The hypocrisy of these ReAlPaTsFaN bastards is clear for all to see.

"Petty vengeance." What irony, coming from the 24/7 ringleader of BB haters because, uh, "Brady." Belichick's shelf life in New England expired for obvious reasons -- he has moved on and so has most everyone else. Yet you can't let it go or even bring yourself to respect what he accomplished here en route to NFL Hall of Fame enshrinement.

As for this ludicrous notion that people from "team Bill" (whatever the hell that is) want Mayo to fail -- prove it. I've seen/heard absolutely nothing to that effect. Seems like your imagination working overtime to somehow justify all the puerile, petulant nonsense you've conjured toward demonizing Belichick.

BB clearly needed to go, his program no longer was working. Does that mean he grew incapable of teaching player techniques, conceiving solid game plans or tactically out-dueling opponents on game day? No. But it DID mean he no longer could obtain/retain the personnel required to successfully execute those game plans or in-game adjustments, both roster-wise and on his own staff. BB the GM failed BB the HC and the two were inseparable. The system worked well for two solid decades but attrition, the passage of time and the game's changing landscape took their toll. None of that, however, minimizes what he achieved as one of football's all-time greats.

Now we are on to Mayo, a promising product of BB's program who is close to a blank slate in terms of coaching accomplishment. BB is the past, Mayo the future. Anyone hoping Mayo fails simply is not a Patriots fan. Anyone still preoccupied with trashing Belichick for whatever reason is just a dink.

How can you disagree with that? Blaming Kraft instead of BB despite BB who put this team and coaching staff together?
