I have been listening for probably close to 15 years now and still don't really miss a show (on the podcast I don't always listen live). The show is still pretty good but it definitely misses Andy Hart. Megan O'Brien is terrible and Mike Dussalt is an over the top homer but overall I still think it is an entertaining podcast. Just curious to see how many people on here are regular listeners.

I have always liked Dussault going way back to when he was a regular here on this forum. Worked hard on his own website for a long time (Pats Propaganda) and after years and years it finally paid off for him, when he got a job offer from Patriots.com.

On the note of Patriots talk - I'm kicking around the idea of starting a Patriots-centric YouTube channel. Not gonna be high quality but figured it would be cool to pool recent Pats news every couple of days and just talk through it, insert my opinion here or there a little but not too much. Mostly just the facts with some conjecture/ideas sprinkled in. If you think this is a good/bad idea just let me know. Trying to gauge the market on if people are actually interested.

That show gets a lot of hate, but I enjoy it. Paul has really grown on me over the years. I do miss Hart. They’ve always got a lot of good chemistry going on. Even with Meghan. I’m not the biggest fan, but she’s gotten better. I love Mike D, and I love the fact that he’s a homer.

My only gripe about the show is when they take callers, even the regulars. It never goes smooth. I’d prefer people send in questions or comments via email, maybe even recorded video/audio that can be screened that they reply to. The live call in stuff is garbage most of the time.

I also want to add that I wish they gave more time to Eric (sp?) The whole whipping boy schtick is alright when it’s here and there. I actually enjoy listening to him talk.

I love the show. I listen everytime i can otherwise I listen to the podcast afterwards when I am working.

I agree with you Megan is horrible. I kind of liked her when she started but it went downward since then. I don’t like her know it all attitude. I like Mike, I think he is a great addition, I like his analysis but I agree that he is the biggest homer on the show and sometimes it is annoying. I liked Andy when he was on the show and I started to listen to the off day podcast but I think he has turned into a clown at WEEI. He and Hannable are hard to listen more often than not.

I like Snarky Paul the most. In my opinion, he is the more balanced guy in the room. He is the only one who can play the devils advocate. For me, he is the one who makes the show interesting!

Fred is, and probably always will be my favorite. I love that his homerism and a lot of his arguments are just part of a shtick. I also love when you can almost “hear” the grin on his face when he picks a fight with one of the other guys. I love Paul’s rain man like ability to be able to remember random plays and scores from pretty much any game over the last 30 years as well as his negative balance to some of the homerism. I don’t mind Duce but his anti Brady, “Bill can do no wrong” thing gets a little old but overall I think he’s a nice addition to the show with a subtle, slightly weird sense of humor. Erik is such a dork and is only good for the rest of them to hang up on him. I agree about Megan. When she first started I kind of liked a new perspective in the group but as time as gone on she has just gotten worse and worse. She speaks in absolutes and has no real knowledge of the team or really the league in general. That and the fact she won’t just admit she’s a Bears fan and acts like she is the barometer for how Patriots fans should feel. Hopefully all her networking pays off and she is gone soon.

I like a few of the callers like Chris with a tian and Eldred but there are so many that are just painful to listen to. I definitely agree on the emails being preferential.

I love Fred and Paul fights, they are great.

I agree about his « Bill can do no wrong » but except for that I think he is relatively funny and I think his analysis are well thought and interesting.

I am with you 100%

That amaze me everytime.

I think that would be a cool idea and I am sure plenty of posters on here would support it.

My son listens to it all the time and his reports reflect thoughts similar to yours. I used to listen years ago, but much like Zo and Bertrand they indulge so much inane non football stuff and encourage crazy callers, so I just stopped listenting.

Had been a listener for the better part of 15 years all the way back to the guy that shall not be named. But stopped listening after Andy left. Megan is just so bad and I don't mind Mike but the chemistry & dynamic is just all wrong now IMO.

Megan doesn't know what she is talking about and Mike is generally very passive with the rest of the group so neither of them will really get into the big arguments the way Andy would. Paul seems to try and goad Mike into an argument sometimes but Mike generally backs down. Megan generally either regurgitates Paul's opinion or just says something so stupid all the rest of them disagree and she gives a half hearted attempt to defend her point then just waits an episode or two to say the same dumb thing again. Andy may have been an idiot sometimes but he would add a spark to the show and would defend his take vehemently which would create some great fights.

That was embarrassing. Mike defended Bill like he was his son and seemed like he was on the verge of tears.

Mike’s an incredible guy and seeing that come to fruition was probably one of the coolest things I’ve seen happen in the 20yrs+ I’ve been doing this, especially knowing his backstory. Definitely well-deserved.

The best part about Mike is he slowly leaks out random stories from his life. Stories about being a TV writer in LA, doing the Pats Propaganda blog, and the craziest thing to me is he was on the show 2 years before he told the story about selling the 28-3 t-shirts to Barstool.

You mean "....much like the autistic man-child and the blowhard......"
