If Goodell thinks he may have done it, what are the next steps?

does he land on the exempt list or does he get suspended right away?

if he ends up on the exempt, how likely is it that he plays again this season?

If Goodell thinks he may have done it, Goodell can place him on the exempt list.

The exempt list is a suspension, though he gets paid. He can't be suspended without pay until the investigation completes and Goodell makes his ruling pursuant to the investigation.

No idea on likelihood of playing again this season.

Why on earth would you think that? Who is going to create the **** show? The rest of the league and the public won't care.

People are going to be thrilled if Brown is suspended...

Well it’s shady don’t you think? Off course they won’t care cause it’s the patriots. AB is a total a hole but how can you suspend someone without evidence yet in the hill you had video and basing on history of him beating his girlfriend .

Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer reports the league interviewed Britney Taylor, who has accused Antonio Brown of sexual assault and rape, for 10 hours on Monday.

The same MMQB/SI Albert Breer as that is a documented Pats hater and the colleague Robert Klemko who just wrote an absolute hit piece on Brown and is doing media rounds claiming Brown is going to be arrested because of civil monetary issues?

Weird how the chick from CNN's tweet was posted at 9:40AM and Breer doesn't report it until hours after when the tweet starting to get traction

He’s setting a dangerous situation here considering it’s not criminal. We have seen in other sports teams allowing their stars to play when it’s a civil suit.

I didn't say it couldn't be shady.
I am simply asking where any "**** show" is going to come from, since, as you point out as well, people won't care because it's the Patriots.

Well, shame on the players for negotiating and agreeing on a CBA provision that explicitly allows Goodell to do just that.

I wouldn't be surprised to find out that commissioners in other sports simply aren't allowed to do it.

Yeah, Brady lost his court case explicitly because the CBA gives the commissioner basically unlimited power, regardless of the merits (or lack thereof) of the accusation against the player.

Well he will look two faced with the way he allowed hill to play and brown not play based on allegations. What amazes me is that nobody gave two ****s about hill getting off. That’s what bothers me.

If Goodell puts AB on the exempt list after hearing from a single accuser, what a precedent he will set.

So what? Do you actually think he cares one bit? Especially since public sentiment will be overwhelmingly on his side for multiple reasons (Patriot hatred, political incorrectness of questioning a female alleged victim's account, etc.)

It's because the Chiefs are viewed as the top contender to NE. If Hill was on NE people would be furious.

Do you think the NFL can make a decision after Ten hours of deliberation?? Try Ten months!

What the hell did they talk about for ten hours anyway? I figure a testimony would take 4-5 hours with frequent breaks...followed up by 10-15 uncomfortable questions tops.

10 hours?

I wish Brady continued his case to the Supreme Court with a final attempt to strip some of Goodell's powers...
