What a coincidence! Tom calls O'Brien "Billy"

That's pretty cool. BB is amazing and has such a deep respect (and understanding) of the history of the game and its participants. Thanks for posting.

Really enjoyed this, the link to Paul Brown is interesting so I guess BB is part of that lineage.

In the 50's prior to the Patriots, I shunned the NY Giants and chose to be a Cleveland Browns fan.. so I followed Brown for a while.

Always amazes how much reverence that BB has for the game of football, and how much he appreciates the opportunities he was given..

It appears this was filmed during the Patriots' preseason trip to Detroit this year -- the game in which Edelman was injured. (You can spot Edelman briefly in the video.) I like how BB holds Forzano's hand to keep him steady and how Forzano keeps calling him Billy, like he was still the 8-year-old he first met in Annapolis.

A great way to start today - thanks Tune.

Good stuff.

Fantastic video. Of course, BB’s demeanor here will never be acknowledged in the media despite it being out there for all to see.

Wow, that was awesome!

Never seen that before, thanks for sharing this.

Best stuff I saw since the Superbowl win videos in February. This was amazing.

Outsiders call him arrogant. BB is so humble. He clearly GREATLY surpassed his old coach, yet credits him for teaching & guidance.

When it comes to the game -BB is open and honest.

Awesome vid. I can't help but notice that Brady looked like he hated his coach for trying to trade him this season.

Sweet, thx for posting...must be from the Detroit preseason game this year...

Also noted in the video that Fritz Shurmur was on that same Detroit staff....saw some guy on twitter today w a long, detailed technical thread highlighting how this year's Pats D is using lots of concepts from Fritz Shurmur and Tom Landry defenses

Amazing vid and amazing memories from both brains
