I had cardiac arrhythmia 5 Times, twice needing the paddles....I threw up in my mouth 3 times, and all over my friends and family ...twice....passed out twice too.....had to be revived by a hard heart punch.....Brutal game to watch....ALOT of holes to fill on both sides of the ball...but hey....we fcking say this EVERY year around this time.....they WILL continue to improve and they WILL get better. The GOAT showed everyone once again....why he is THE GOAT.....and Brandin Cooks.....you are the sh!t....now let’s get busy....and stay healthy!!!! GO Pats!!!!

Wow, what a comeback....Tom was amazing on that last drive along with Cooks and Danny making huge catches!!!!

Certainly wasn't perfect, but a win is a win!!!!

For all you posters saying Brady is done....

Just a hunch, not sure Jimmy Garoppolo could have orchestrated such a come back.

Let's discuss

I don't think you can discount the job Gronk did chipping JJ Watt. On almost every pass play, Gronk would hit him first and then realease, giving Waddle plenty of time to set up to block Watt. Pass catching, unless you hold him, you can not stop him.

I think the defense was awful, the secondary was terrible, McCoutry was terrible. I can only hope that Hightower gets healthy quick.

Cooks was amazing, and once again for the 999th time, Danny Amendola came up with a huge catch in crunch time.

Only Tom Brady wins this game, any other QB in the history of the world, the Pat's lose this game.
The bizarre thing is that the secondary has the ability to be great but they've been atrocious. I expect the linebackers to blow but my God. Something needs to be shaken up. We shouldn't have won. Only Tom Brady could have saved our bacon like that because he's goddamn super human.

So you are moving the goal posts from saying mobile QBs are always giving the defense trouble to somehow talking about his arm.

Gotcha, you have nothing on the garbage you wrote about mobility before..

Mobility and throwing! Happy? Containing players of that nature. Bottom line the defense was horrific!

Agreed on the inconsistency, but it's hard to argue with 36. Through 3 games, averaging 33 a game. I'll take that all day, and that's enough to win you any (and arguably every) game in this league.

I disagree that aggregate statistics are an indication of anything other than we have talent to score. There are awful teams who compile even greater offensive stats and manage to lose most games. Winning the game and improving are all that matters

Great win, amazing finish to a great game but the defense was bad again i'm interested to see what mid season trade/roster movement Bill comes up with to try and improve this defense, i can't see him being happy to continue giving up 30 a game, a trade seems inevitable.

Cooks is going to be a special player this year for this O.

I called it. I said cooks would have a breakout game and boom! The guy's too talented not to pick up this offense as well. Kid's a baller. I wish Dorsett was the same as well.

Defense is all about team work. Lost, replaced some parts.

I never stopped believing...apparently (albeit while drinking), I said I'd stick my **** in a toaster if TFB didn't make the comeback.

Thanks GOAT. You truly are the best...

I think the defense will improve. Looks like a lot of things that can be fixed like communication issues, tackling and overall chemistry. They haven't had their QB of the defense either since HT has been out

3 game sample size, but I think it’s evident the offense is going to be historic:

33 PPG
450 YPG

Two pretty good defenses barely could stop us outside of play calling & an Amendola concussion. Brady at 10 yards per pass...

An overpowered 2011 team can win a superbowl. That’s also the worst case scenario on defense too.

CBs held their WRs to about 150. They got 120 out of their RB and TE and about 70 of that came on from Watson scrambling from pressure and throwing it up.

Hightower and Rowe play today I think it's a little bit different story..

Your posts weren't quite bad enough to make my thread, but they were close.

As for the game? I really wish they'd stop running that candyass game plan against mobile quarterbacks. The times they got needed stops saw the DL pushing upfield and forcing Watson into bad decisions. When they sat back and played contain, he picked them apart.

Great comeback win frekin Brady man. This defense is a prob, if they look bad next week with no olson or Benjamin they gotta change something up.

I love stealing games like this, or even worse. We should have lost. Still counts. Like finding the cookie jar when mom's away. Teams like Houston will start looking at us like we're gods from now on, with magic powers.

I really think the winning TD pass may be one of TB's best ever.

I wish we would stop with the zone coverage and start playing man to man all the time. We have great m2m corners so why not let them do what their good at?
