Wonder how much he got, it sounded like he was getting far more interest than he should have been getting.

With the Fragile D. Easley you wonder if have to wonder if Hicks would have been a better long term move Hmmm.

Sorry to see him go. At least he didn't go to the Jets, Broncos or Colts. Probably to rich for the Pats liking!!!

According to Ian Rappaport, a 2 year $10 mil deal. He can earn more with incentives. $5mil guaranteed...

Nice, that's great for him. He made himself a solid chunk of money by performing really well for us. Hopefully other players willing to bet on themselves take note.

It would make sense given the deals Hicks, Ayers, and Casillas got after partial seasons in NE.

Looks like he did want that $6 million per year but had to settle for $5 plus incentives

BB is smart enough to let potential reclamation FAs see the $ data on players who came here to rejuvenate their careers

Pats put them in a position to succeed. They succeed and BAM! Money. Everyone wins.

Thanks for the 5th round compensatory pick, Akiem.

Apparently BB made a pitch to him last night trying to convince him to stay

Always gotta wonder what the Pats actually offered? Clearly it was south of what he received.

I think that the Patriots are probably under on most of these free agents. Despite the supposed floor on cap spending it seems like every year there are a number of teams with literally 50 million in cap space and they go nuts giving good players HOF caliber money and reset the market at ridiculous levels. Jacksonville had over 80 million to spend and went nuts and Houston and the Giants joined them giving superstar contracts to good players, and I can't imagine what Von Miller will get when he ultimately hits free agency, let alone a guy like Andrew Luck, who could be upwards of 150 million.
