OT: Dominic Rhodes suspended for four games

Oakland Raiders running back Dominic Rhodes was suspended Tuesday for the first four games of the season for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

The league does not disclose reasons for substance abuse suspensions, but Rhodes pleaded guilty in the offseason to reckless driving charges in Indiana after prosecutors agreed to drop drunken driving charges against him.

Oh well Lamont Jordan will have to share the load with Justin Fargas I guess for those first four games.

The Raiders actully quitely had a very good off-season, but this is certainly a set back. If Russell pans out and they find someone that can block (or 5 for that matter) they could be a damn good team. It's funny how close they seem when in reality they are so far off. Looks like another 4 win season for the Silver and Black. I wonder how Mike Williams will play with his first REAL oppertunity.

If he does, then I completely disagree with these new rules. It's already getting annoying seeing all these players getting put out and if Porter is sidelined for such a minor offense, then I'm convinced it's just a power trip. I miss Tagliabu. And you better hope Porter is suspended for your game against us, because you guys aren't blocking Taylor and Porter.

Not just Porter, the whole league. Pacman should'nt get a whole year, Henry and Tank should've gotten 8 (or at least Tank will get an 8.) I miss the Tagliabu days already.
