Patriots Promoting Rookie Joey Iosefa To Boost Running Back Depth

6'0", 245 pound FB but :

Iosefa, 24, has dropped weight since signing with the Patriots and could be used as a fullback, running back or pass-catcher.

Would love to know how much weight he's lost and whether he's still a true FB.

I'm guessing purely a backup who won't see a meaningful rep unless there's an injury to one of the other 2.

His ability to pick up blitzes and block out of a two back set for White and Bolden is probably Belichick's greatest focus. Sounds more like a substitute for Develin than anything else.

Which doesn't make sense as he was 247 at combine and pro day. Unless he bulked up after. His 3 Cone was decent despite terrible 40.

How's is the Titans DL? Haven't seen them play this year aside from some highlights of Mariotta.

He reminds me of that one great year Hillis had with the Browns. Not that fast but a nightmare to tackle. Anyway it's against college competition and who knows in the NFL. But if he can fall forward and average 4 yard a carry, then speed doesn't really matter in our offense.
