Patriots' contract agreement with OT Sebastian Vollmer, as reported by @FieldYates, ensures Patriots' starting o-line returns intact.

The Patriots have reached an agreement with free-agent right tackle Sebastian Vollmer on a new contract, according to a league source.

Terms of the deal are not yet known, but it locks up the team's top remaining free agent.

To my mind, it's been a pretty successful one already. I'll be right interested in seeing what they do next month at the Draft.

Starting O line returns, intact. We also have quality depth and of course Scar!

This is what I had been hoping to see.

Now, give me deep threat (sanders), Jules and then finish up on the other side of the ball - any of the DE's work for me.

I'm very happy for us and Vollmer. Just surprised he didn't get more offers. I know he has had the back issues but this is a guy that can play both tackle spots very well. You just don't find that very often in a free agent tackle. Their loss is our gain I guess provided he stays healthy.

Great offseason.

With one month to the draft, this may be the most obvious what position our 1st round pick will be. Every other position except WR is all set for the most part.

Awesome! we have most of the team that reached last year's AFC Championship intact. Replace Welker with Amedola and some minor improvements like Armestead, Leon etc. Can't wait.:rocker:
