Bill was not scheduled to have a presser today, but he is now scheduled to have one at 11:40... Who knows...

Patriots have resigned Ojinaka to the roster. So no more WR talk I guess.

No, that's just someone fixing the furniture, probably and intern . I doubt it has much to do and back channel wheeling and dealing. It is a bye week after all.

If branch is in the airport already, the deal is done and we'd know about it more concretely.

Heating up now.

@SeahawksUpdate

Seahawks fans please follow us we are trying to get news on the Branch deal... Just got on a plane from Sea-Tac.... #seahawks #nfl #patriots

Branch would be an interesting matchup. As a coach, you'd be crazy to double team him, but he eat a lot of guys for lunch on a single team. He would do better than Moss against a cornerback like Revis or V Davis because he's quick and not as reliant on the deep post route. Of course, he'd be a huge step down from Moss overall, but he'd definitely soften the blow of this loss.

Branch spotted in an airport, maybe hes going to visit his mother. :confused2: Just because hes in an airport means nothing other than hes going somewhere or picking someone up, calm down.

I am not so sure because they already did that once. They traded for him then signed him, then cut him and just resigned him. Could they cut him again without incurring a reprimand from the union or NFL?

These trade rumors make no sense to me if someone was just resigned to the 53rd spot.

If you were the Pats and had ANY intention of attempting a trade, you'd keep that spot open for a couple of days, for simplicity sake.

Holy cow this is exciting.

Russ Francis?

They could be cutting someone else.

Tony Simmons on his way...

I say Woodhead......... What the hell use do we have for a 5-foot-nothing white guy at running back :singing:

Or BB is using as leverage..Business as usual, Maybe the new olinemen stays regardless and some other guy who was going to be deactivated will now. Could easily be 2 separate transactions and or to help in negotiations

Having Branch back would be nice, but we have plenty of quick twitch, shifty route runners on the team. I still think we need someone to stretch the field.

What's this now? Oh boy, a WR4.

Chad Jackson?

Bethel Johnson?
