I tried this earlier today and bearing in mind I was only young in the Superbowl years, i'm not sure on a few positions.
I'll quote it so it takes up less space:
I have a bad feeling I missed an obvious one, so let me know.
I would also play 4WR/1RB, so no need for TE
RBs-Dylan (in 04 form)
My turn. Parentheses denote honorable mentions.
Offense:
QB: Brady (Cassel)
RB: Dillon (Faulk, Smith)

CB: Law, Samuel (Smith, Buckley, Poole)
S: Harrison, Meriweather (Milloy, Wilson)
Biggest crapshoot: Right Tackle and Free Safety
i don't understand what the criteria is. How can Cassel be on any list? I love Welker but how can i place him above Troy right now?
Offense

K: Adam Vinatieri
P: Ken Walter
Returner: Troy Brown
Special Teams: Larry Izzo
Coach: Bill Belichick
Toughest calls were:
-Choosing an RT, since 3 different guys were starters for the Super Bowl winning teams, and none of them really had the longevity that Kaczur has
-Making the call between Roman Phifer and Ted Johnson, but I picked Phifer because Johnson made the Pats All-90's team and figured I'd spread the love
-Branch over Welker for WR, picked Branch since he has two Super Bowl rings and was an MVP
-Antowain Smith over Corey Dillon (no way Faulk didn't make this team), but I picked Smith since Dillon really only had that one great year (but what a great year it was!) and is more known as a Bengal than a Pat.
-Ty Warren over Bobby Hamilton
-Punter, since no one really stood out over the long term
AND
-Not finding a place for Lonie Paxton on this team.
Troy Brown has the most receptions in patriot HISTORY and he has 3 rings
he was also one of the most underated players in NFL history and obviously still is.
QB: Brady, Cassel, Bledsoe
RB: Dillon, Faulk, Morris (Close between him and Antowain)
FB: Evans, Edwards (Edwards got called on for too many FB draws so his memory is forever sullied)
WR: Moss, Welker, Branch, Givens, Caldwell (Reche gave us good stuff while he was here)
TE: Graham, Fauria, Wiggins (I never wanted them to get rid of him)
OT: Light, Kaczur, GRR, Kenyatta Jones
OG: Andruzzi, Mankins, Compton, Neal
C: Koppen, Woody
Defense:
DE: Seymour, Warren, Green, Hamilton
DT: Wilfork, Washington, Mitchell
ILB: Bruschi, Johnson, Mayo
OLB: McGinest, Vrabel, Colvin, Thomas
CB: Law, Samuel, Hobbs, Poole
S: Harrison, Milloy, Wilson, Hawkins (Wilson was good in his day)
Special Teams:
K: Vinatieri
P: Miller
KR: Hobbs
PR: Brown
ST: Izzo
What the?
Woody doesn't play center.
