...at the draft when its NEs time to pick, to announce one or two of the next great Linebackers for the Patriots in round 2

We have to let Andre announce at least one Linebacker :),let's draft one at 33 or 60 or maybe in both spots!

....Andre will be doing the announcing of Belichick's first 2 picks for the Pats in the second round ...if we have any picks at that time

I would love for our next linebacker chosen tomorrow to be even a 1/4 as good as Andre was

I've never seen Tippett play...looking at the stats it would seem he had 2 monster years and overall had mostly below 10 sack seasons. Was he really as good as this forum makes him out to be?

Well i know that he is a hall of famer, pro bowler etc. but people are making it sound like he was LT. I'm obviously ignorant when it comes to him.

Screw that, Andre should suit up himself! He can't be any worse than TBC.

He got hurt in the middle of his career and his production diminished. I think it could be argued that he was on par with LT. He didn't have the benefit of playing for a hall of fame coach and didn't play in as many big games.

He had great hands. I think he was/is a black belt.

Wasn't he also on the strong side? Meaning he also had the TE to deal with!

Yes he was. As a matter of fact that is how he got hurt. I remember him tossing a tight end off him and maybe hurting his knee...I can't remember.

If you didn't see much of Tipp how much of LT could you have seen? Yet I am sure you don't question him.

There's a crapload of footage and material available regarding LT.Not so much when it comes to Tippett.

That tends to happen when you are referring to a player on a multiple SB championship team and a player on a team that was mostly pathetic during his career
