Considering that Connor Barwin had such a cult following in 2009, I'm surprised there hasn't hardly been a peep for Konz. This guy is the versatile conversion project who could play just about any position for us, including tight end. Also when you think about how successfully his teammate, Julian Edelman, converted to WR, you would think that a Kent State athlete would not be overlooked by the Pats scouting department.
Konz also put up some monster numbers that are a clear indication of explosive athleticism. He could contribute right away on special teams, and has the potential to convert to or play a number of positions - FB/H-back/TE.
I'd think he'd also be an instant fan hit due to his name - KONZZZ!!!;
and his golden locks which would probably make the female pats fans very happy.

Konz in round 6? What say you? He's got at least as much upside as Slater, whom the Pats selected in round 5, if not MORE.
