Many reports have been harping on the issue of the integrity of the game as it relates to the deflated ball issue. In a report by Jay Glazer the NFL had been made aware of a potential ball issue earlier in the year. If so, why was nothing said to the Pats earlier...especially if protecting the "integrity of the game" was so important to them? If it was shouldn't they have been talking to them about it more then trying to set up this situation, especially in an AFC Championship game? If this report is true, then some serious questions need to be asked of the league as to why nothing was said to the Patriots previously.
Luckily it seems that some of the reports, like Curran are beginning to ask these questions. If this stuff is true, and the league is purposely trying to take down coaches/franchises, then this could be an even bigger deal. According a new Peter King article there is a lot of animosity from some other coaches and they are down near celebratory about this whole **** storm. Really makes one wonder where this is all coming from.
