New England keeps him with clever dealing
What does this choice mean? Why does NE need clever dealing to keep him? If they do absolutely nothing, they keep him.
Clever dealing pretty much means they will offer him a bit more money (which is not the right thing to do) - or Persuade him to stay by promising more carries than last year (which I don't see happening, this will be Maroney's job more so this year),If they do nothing they lose..Corey won't stay and play 10-12 carries..He wants more involvement.
Maybe for HOF legacy type stuff/stats,I don't know and don't know if he is capable of 20-30 poundings a game for 16 or more games at this stage in his career,If he leaves he is going to need a SUPERB offensive line to even come close to big yardage in 2007.
Pro football talk is reporting that the Pats do not want to let him go..
Where does Corey play for in 2007?
If Corey goes anywhere I think it will be to the Jets who will give him a chance to carry the rock to see if he can do it plus the Manging connection
and Jets can draft a running back to groom.
I'm just not worried about the Jets who cares I don't. We will see how the Jets play next year when teams take them seriously next year. They can have Dillon why do we need a back who continuosly took himself out of games after one or two runs. What I remember most about the guy was him holding his hand up after every run.I voted Jets. Just a feeling mangina will try to raid the pats again..
