Hit piece out on WP on Snyder:

Yes, I know there's another thread about the WFT/Snyder fiasco, but it turned into a dumpster fire and so I'd rather not drag it up.

Any key points to relay to the paywall-averse?

He hired PI's and lawyers to try to intimidate witnesses into not cooperating with the NFL investigation even while he was claiming he was fully cooperating.

Peyton Manning did that when his HGH story came to light and no one with any influence cared. We’ll see if the media/league handle it differently this time.

Just read the whole thing.

Friggan perv

And a former video producer said he witnessed the production of a video in 2008, which he was told was being made for Snyder, culled from outtakes of a recent cheerleader calendar shoot that included moments of nudity. The Post separately obtained the video, as well as a similar video from 2010. Snyder denied having any knowledge of the videos or involvement in their production.

This was big story on local DC news radio yesterday. Details about the intimidation and the intensity of efforts to identify who was spilling the beans are impressive. One point was using a false news story published in India along with some legal chicanery to try to get information about anyone suspected of possibly being involved in planting the story. Or talking to the press at all.

also ramped up pressure from Members of Congress on the league regarding the investigation, and Congresscritters‘ requests for information about it, or possible hearings on it.

This report and the CTE news out of. North Carolina must’ve made yesterday a tough slog for our favorite Commish.

Doesn't Congress have more important things to consider than previous WFT dealings?

I mean contrary to lazy jokes and stereotypes, Congress, and remmebrr Congress is two separate bodies with either the House or Senate, juggles dozens of stuff at once including many different committees which on their own juggle many different things most of which we don’t hear about every day because it’s largely boring minutiae. And they are able to function because each congressperson has a team of staffers to fill out most of the busy work. So why does everyone always assume congress is a waste of time that does nothing? Because it’s a form of selection bias where the only thing they do, or don’t do, which reaches mainstream attention by default is something that is interesting to the mainstream. Which is basically 10% at most of all congressional business.

so what I mean to say is yes Congress has the capability to investigate this if they wanted to and it wouldn’t distract from anything.

And like clockwork...the owners ***** comes out.

Maybe they should worry about the current state of the Country and let the NYFL dig it's own grave!
As Vector pointed out, they’re real good at compartmentalizing and multitasking.

Plus the NFL enjoys some unique accommodations as a legal monopoly with a huge financial impact.

On top of that a really big part of the current state of the country is how people treat each other. Including sexual harassment, and bullying and intimidation by the powerful against the powerless.

so a good argument can be made that they’re actually doing their job, even if that thought gets your knickers in a twist.

and another NFL HC is axed after a Snyder story comes out.........

I heard that Snyder was in DC on January 6th.

How am I gonna find all my favorite pornog again?
Use a different browser. If you use chrome, try Firefox or edge. Not sure if there are multiple browsers for apple stuff.

In re the op... The owners have circled the wagons on this... After what happened to Jerry Richardson in Carolina there is no way they will allow that to happen again... Unless someone gets ahold of the full research file, consider Snyder untouchable

Yeah, let the regular authorities to investigate the most powerful men in America. Trust the system!
