Wes Welker has a job again: Rams sign former Patriots WR

I'm sure if you opened his skull you could confuse his gray matter with mac & cheese....

Meh, don't really care for Welker. A judas who went running to Peyton and proceeded to lick his balls and rave about him in the media even though it was #12 that MADE him. Besides winners catch money passes in the SB (Edelman) and losers (Welker) do not. Sorry to be so brutal but it's the truth.

So, if he finishes the year as a pretty good receiver and with out a concussion can we blame Manning?
I think the dual case study of Welker/Collie is enough for me to blame Manning. Welker started out fine, rarely getting concussed for the Patriots. Collie started out getting bombarded by concussions. Welker then went to play with Manning, and the concussions quickly came. Collie started to play with Brady, and he was fine.

That's something Brady probably is the best in the league at, putting the ball in a place where the WR can avoid a hit. Often by putting the ball so that the WR has to go to the ground with the catch.

I'll take the fire, passion, attitude, talent and mentality of Jules over Welker any day of the week.

It's a job. I won't have any problem with a player taking another job that pays them more money, especially when it allows them to play in successful place, and not on some crappy team.

Welker was a great slot receiver and a great Patriots player that deserve the red jacket

Again thanks for the memories but he's not missed. Edelman is better at every aspect of football than Welker was/is. It's a fact.

Sorry to have to bring this up and i know in life that nothing is ever given but i can say with almost certainty that Edelman makes the CATCH that Wes couldn't. So would Amendola.....

I hope he doesn't get another concussion.

It's his life and he can do whatever he wants, but I personally wish he would retire. I still am a huge fan of Wes even with how it ended here and him going off to Denver. I'd hate to see him end up getting Parkinson or ALS because of all the hits to the head.

This.

All the best to him in the NFC, but I hope he never wears a Red Jacket.

I understand forgiveness, but people who straight up give him a free pass obviously don't remember 2013, when we lost our entire offense and Tom's legacy was under assault. Welker's betrayal was a big contributor to this, and he helped reignite a Peyton v Brady legacy debate that Brady had already otherwise ended in 2012.

**** Wes Welker.

Does he still have some slurring in his speech?

The way the Rams play, he might get his career-ending concussion in his first week of practice.

I could see this. It's a Jeff Fisher practice after all.

It's his life and his choice. I don't think it is smart and I think it is a bit of desperation in some form. Unfortunately he will be the poster boy for CTE in not so many years.

Sad.

Its probably his wife pushing him because she wants a new Mercedes or something.

Any truth to the rumor that his new helmet will be one of those old bullpen carts?
