I thought he said the Giants in the Super Bowl served as the blue print and th Eagles just showed that people would follow it.
I still think his line that the Pats are in more concern that the Pats should be more concerned than the Colts because their offense has stunk is bogus. Their starting LT, RG, and QB were out. The Colts have been full strength except for Manning with their entire starting offense and Sorgi (and Lorenz stepping in for Sorgi) has not been effective and Addai has been averaging 1.9 YPC. The Colts o-line has been struggling at full strength and may have lost Staturday for a stretch now.
Old Soloman, can't stand BB or this organization for that matter. After being snubbed by BB after the 06 AFC, he made a nice backhanded compliment to Lovie Smith after the SB, Basically " thanks for being a man and staying hear to graciously answer my questions".
Big run on sentance sorry I have ADHD.
Now why the heck would he say something like that?
I saw that interview and BB did stay and answered Wilcox's questions as well and calmly as he could, given the situation.
I also remember the clowns at ESPN trying to paint the interview as a BB meltdown. Don't think I'll be seeing that one on any beer commercials.
This guy belongs on ESPN with the rest of the tools. I am getting really sick and tired of the media in General. Tell me Wilcox, what blue print is this that you speak of? The one that shows the league how to beat our back up QB, and OL? Our starting left tackle, and right guard did not play in that game. Our starting Quarter Back didn't play either. Oh wait, maybe it's the blueprint of how to beat our Vanilla Preseason Defense or our Special teams unit filled with people who may or may not make the team? Give me a break.
The guys on this team are stronger human beings than I am. If I was a Patriot player and any of these peices of **** in the media came near me after talking crap, I'd tell them to go **** themselves. Seriously, I don't have the patience for this type of BS.
Sad thing is most of them played....
As a huge Pats fan, I love to hear idiots think they have a game plan to stop the Patriots. Would teams still want to use this so-called game plan if Samuel had caught that gift-wrapped INT the Manning threw?
But there is one "theme" that I am concerned about and that is OC McDaniels. I don't know how much of the game plan he was able to develop for the SB but it was attrocious. I do think Belichick should have stepped in a bit to make changes at halftime when clearly the OL was having a bad game.
But fast forward to this year and I wonder why having C Jackson and a few others run "flys" would be exposing too much of the playbook. I'd love to see the Pats back-ups "air it out" to really see what these guys (and the WR's) have for skills. Seems I've been waiting 3 games just to see if Cassel can even throw a dart or a long ball. And I'm tired of his potential. Gutierrez and O'Connell have already shown me more in their limited play. I want to see Gutierrez start Thursday and play the first half and then see what O'Connell can do in 2nd half.
Soloman Wilcox can drop dead.
In other news, if the Blue Print for beating the Patriots is prepping for the backups the Pats put out every second half this preseason, teams are gonna be in for a suprise come Sept 7 at about 2:45.
With 31 teams everyone is all "This is preseason, these teams are just evaluating who is good enough to be on the roster." I still don't follow there thought process in declaring the Patriots dynasty dead because of some crappy preseason games.
The Giants game would be a blueprint if other teams had those horses rushing the passer. I don't think the blueprint was that secretive or surprising. Basically generate a tremendous pass rush using as few people as possible.
Jacksonville rushed 4 and got no pass rush and we didn't punt.
The Giants on the other hand got a sensational pass rush without having to overcommit all that much, and when they did blitz, they got there. That the Giants were able to get as much pass rush as they did was a surprise, certainly, but that the blueprint was what the Giants did shouldn't have been. But no other team in the league can say they had three top pass rushers like that. Which was why I was rooting hard for Green Bay. The only way to stop that offense was what the Giants did. But they were the only team capable of executing that gameplan well enough. And the Pats still should have won.
I sincerely doubt that someone would say a blueprint was discovered based on a preseason game where Brady didn't even play.
In fact, I could say this same 'blueprint' is the key to beating about 25 other NFL teams too.
I agree...and if they believe a this so called blueprint was indeed found during the preseason, then they are wrong....No doubt about it.
