Week 17 NFL Games

Jets score, up by a TD over the Dolphins near the half.

i thought pushing your own player forward was illegal

Ravens and Dolphins losing, just how I want it.

Get the Chargers in the playoffs so Manning can choke to them and give us homefield back, the Raiders sure as hell aren't going to help us.

I remember wanting the Ravens to beat the Broncos last year so we could get home field back. Didn't turn out very well.

I would much rather play Denver than just about any other team in the playoffs. The Chargers will be tougher to beat in my opinion. Denver with those soft receivers and no Von Miller is a good matchup for us.

Eh, I'd always rather have home field and the Chargers have been a team that beats themselves a lot so who knows. All I know is if the Pats aren't the AFC representative I want it to be either Cincinnati or San Diego so Lawfirm or Woodhead can get another shot at a ring.

...

Sixteen possible scenarios (excluding ties) between the four AFC teams going for the number six seed:

Miami Wins, Baltimore Wins, San Diego Wins, Pittsburgh Wins = Dolphins
Miami Wins, Baltimore Wins, San Diego Wins, Pittsburgh Loss = Dolphins
Miami Wins, Baltimore Wins, San Diego Loss, Pittsburgh Wins = Ravens
Miami Wins, Baltimore Wins, San Diego Loss, Pittsburgh Loss = Ravens
Miami Wins, Baltimore Loss, San Diego Wins, Pittsburgh Wins = Dolphins

Miami Loss, Baltimore Wins, San Diego Wins, Pittsburgh Wins = Ravens
Miami Loss, Baltimore Wins, San Diego Wins, Pittsburgh Loss = Ravens
Miami Loss, Baltimore Wins, San Diego Loss, Pittsburgh Wins = Ravens
Miami Loss, Baltimore Wins, San Diego Loss, Pittsburgh Loss = Ravens
Miami Loss, Baltimore Loss, San Diego Wins, Pittsburgh Wins = Chargers
Miami Loss, Baltimore Loss, San Diego Wins, Pittsburgh Loss = Chargers
Miami Loss, Baltimore Loss, San Diego Loss, Pittsburgh Wins = Pittsburgh
Miami Loss, Baltimore Loss, San Diego Loss, Pittsburgh Loss = Ravens

Starting to look like we might be down to the last four scenarios.

Thanks for this by the way. I have it pasted into a TextWrangler doc for constant reference. Not a whole lot of clear explanations out there in media land.

Playing Peyton in the playoffs is a bigger advantage than home field.

Jamaal Charles is out today. So the odds are good that the Chargers win.

I can't see the Ravens coming back from such a huge deficit (anything more than a TD is a huge deficit for the Ravens' offense).

It will be interesting to see if the Jets can hold the lead. With Geno Smith, they can turn over a lead pretty quickly.

I just saw it happen in the Steelers game, looks like the season on inconsistent officiating continues.

I would love to see the Chargers get the 6 seed.

Baltimore is pathetic..3 and out to start the second half !!!

If we win today then 6th seed for chargers is good....chargers are very unpredictable this season.. and we've always had close games with them....

Miami gets stuffed on 4th and 1 from mid field.

I hope these scores hold. The Chargers or Steelers would scare the hell out of Peyton.

If these scores hold and the Patriots win I don't think either of those teams walks into Cincinnati and beats them.

I'm counting on playoff Dalton to come to form. But yeah, if Dalton plays half decent the Bengals would probably beat those teams.

The way Dalton is playing today, if the Ravens' offense was good enough to just be really bad, the Ravens would be killing the Bengals today.

Watch the Ravens win with 6 FGs again. 18-17.

And the Bengals are now doing everything possible to hand the lead to the Ravens...

Is Curtis Painter actually in at QB for the Giants?

EDIT-Just said Eli is out with a ankle sprain
