Per tweets by Reiss and Christopher Price-

Vereen is limited with a hamstring
Woodhead is limited with an abdomen injury.

Spikes and Vollmer didn't participate and are not expected to play on Sunday.

    #24 Jersey

Maybe now we'll see a new KO returner (or 2).

I'd like to see Vereen actually get to return a few instead of being the up-man for Woodhead.

No excuse for hamstring problems at the pro level.

Not with a hammy. Same with Price (will he ever play again?) Maybe Underwood or Nate Jones?

This is just ridiculous. At this point it would much easier to list the dozen or so guys who are NOT injured in some way.

    #50 Jersey

18 players (in total) on the list today..

Vollmer and Spikes are almost assuredly out for the game.

    The rest are a toss-up.

I saw that. The almost don't have enough people to have a practice! :)

Also noticed Waters is on the list - but he practiced in full. Really like this guy. Our best lineman by far.

    No Jersey Selected

Yeah, what is it with the Patriots and hamstrings? Are they just more cautious with them than other teams? Or are they kind of an all-purpose vague injury (or non injury, a la Ocho) to list?

They really should look into getting Swarovski as a corporate sponsor.

At some point does the finger get pointed at Nash, and the trainers and medical staff?

Would Mike Woicik's presence here have made a difference?

Strange things are happening, indeed. For instance: Tarp who suddenly fell ill, then developed a head injury and ended up on IR. I'm not even sure of the order in which those peculiar events occured.

Those sorts of incongruities are simply a byproduct of the way information leaks out of Fortress Foxboro.

Furthermore this injury report stuff is BB vs Polian....BB could care less if the Colts are 0-11.

Way too soon to be passing judgement on the Vereen pick.
