I guess he would rather have no income than some income. Must be nice to live that kind of lifestyle.
I can understand his holding firm. He obviously has set a dollar amount on how much he is willing to punish his body. He wont go thru it for vet min when he got paid a ridiculous sum to do it in the past. I mean how much would you be willing to do your job for half of the pay you used to get?
Personnally I am not sure if the vet min and rookie min would be enough for me to put my body thru the punishment these guys do. Well I guess it is but it is close.
As a rookie, I can't see somebody not willing to do that. You would have played and practiced for ten or more years at that point for the opportunity, plus you have no money in your wallet at that point in your life.I can understand his holding firm.
