You mean that free agency isn't over after FOUR whole days.

I agree; there are lots of good players left.

HOWEVER, on the other hand, only 21 of them are better than James Ihedigbo!

Melton (DT)
Spencer (DE)
Sanders (WR)
Sims (DT)
De La Puente (C)
Joesph (G)
Blount (RB)
Moore (WR)
Phillips (DE)

Are the ones that would be worth the biggest look imo. Donald Penn could also slide to Guard but I doubt he would be cheap.

How do you know there's slim pickings left?

22. James Ihedigbo

Damn you beat me, well done.

If we could fit in Melton and De La Puente under our cap. I'd be a happy camper. The release of Wilfork, probably by Monday if he doesn't move off his stance would probably give us all the cap room we'd need.

Apparently he was pretty good last season! Apart from one stand out exception (the end of Bengals game where he tipped it for a TD) Ravens fans seemed to like him.

I would bring him back, he was a good ST Player and is a solid depth safety, and he actually played very well in Baltimore last year. He would be a cheaper version of Gregory most likely.

James Ihedigbo had 101 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, 3 interceptions, 11 pass defends, and 5 run stuffs last season for the Ravens. That is an impressive year for any safety in the NFL, I would welcome him back to the Patriots as the #3 safety.

Right now, I would welcome a Blount signing before all others.

I'd welcome back Ihedigbo. Played great last year and he's a hard hitter at SS.

He looked so poorly playing with us because that's when the rest of our secondary sucked.

I'd be interested in Sidney Rice as well. He put up 83 receptions with Favre - the only elite QB he's played with. He could do pretty well with Brady.

Plus his shoulder was injured if I recall.
